I accidentally put yes on my husband migrating with me and our two children on the online form.. But they are all USC even though we live in Sweden.. I can't change it as it is completed.. What do I do now? Call them? Wait and explain at the interview? Panicking as everything has gone so smoothly, and I hope this doesn't mess thins up too much..

hello, I have a question.. will the NVC notify us if they already receive our approved i130

I don't know...mew just called NVC. Try calling NVC from time to time about your case status.

August 19, 2013 - Mailed our petition to USCIS

USCIS STAGE:

August 22, 2013 - USCIS Received

Augusr 23, 2013 - Receipt date

August 27, 2013 - Case has been accepted & routed to the USCIS NBC

August 29, 2013 - NOA1 hard copy touched

November 25, 2013 - Case transferred to CSC and is being processed

December 05, 2013 - Alien Registration Number changed

December 05, 2013 - APPROVED!!!

December 10, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy touched

December 16, 2013 - NVC Received

January 9, 2014 - Case number and IIN assigned

January 16, 2014 - Paid I864 bill

Im in a similar situation. I submitted the DS-260 before my daughter got her CRBA.

i doubt itll be a big deal...dont know.

Happy New Year to all VJ members! I feel good this year,keeping the good vibes! Still waiting for my case number from NVC,the last time we called them the operator said we're not in the system yet so i was assuming that they just haven't done inputting data into their system.My case was shipped on Dec. 16 so we're gonna call them tomorrow and see if they could atleast give us some feedback. :dancing:

Yep..got the same message.

Hmmm...I got through and spoke to someone yesterday around 8:30 am eastern but I got the message that they are closed today due to weather.

First off: don't worry. Just explain at the interview you accidentally put yes for those questions and they'll fix it. Nothing to panic about. You won't get denied or anything for a little error like that.

Anyone can be a joint sponsor, as long as they're a US citizen/resident.

You don't need to prove relationship in your case. They just need to provide proof of US citizenship/residency.

I'm working on my I864 but I'm not sure if I can use 2012 tax info to fill it out or wait until joint sponsor and I both file 2013 taxes. Or do I use 2013 W-2 for the current annual income?

You have two options:

File now and use 2013/2014 current income, then use 2010, 2011, and 2012 for past tax incomes

Wait to file after 2013 taxes have been filed, then use 2014 as current income, and 2011, 2012, and 2013 as past tax incomes
