Nothing wrong with photos except they were loose, as far as I can think off. I think they secs everything in big scanners and everything should be basically scannable for them, which means either printed out on a paper or taped/glued to a letter size paper. I just hope they accept my corrected addendum to the original packet, so it saves me from an unnecessary RFE.

I heard that VSC has send thousands of cases to the local offices due to falling behind off their targets, which could be helpful as it may expedite the speed of review but my addendum may never be able to make it to its final destination. Feeling helpless and low :(

We got one because they didn't realize that the UK divorce decree absolute isn't signed. We had to resend and point out the features that make it the final decree registered with the county

Well it sounds like we might get an RFE, as my divorce certificate didn't have a signature. Have any others from the UK. had this problem? surely they would know what a UK. divorce certificate looks like? :(

BIG CONCERN: Maybe this is just silly but since I am not used to work with post I am worried about the following: OUR blue letter RFE had a clear instruction to send the reply to an address in Vermont. My fiance did not pay attention and sent it to the same address WITHOUT including the last numbers of the code. It was something like VT 07549-0001 and he only wrote VT 05749. The reply was already delivered but I freaked out because now I don't know whether our reply will be received for the right person/department in Vermont. Does somebody have experience with that??? somebody who has sent it without the 0001 and had not problems??? He insists it will be fine because in USA nobody use those last codes, but still, my point is if Vermont people bothered writing them is for a reason.... feeling a little bit disappointed and frustrated... thank you!!

The last 4 digits of the zip should not matter. They just make it a tiny bit easier for the post office to sort the letters, but are not required at all.

We got a RFE because my fiance didn't send in enough proof of our meeting - he had to send in more evidence! It's not enough just to fill out the form and say 'we met on X date' - you have to provide photos too :) And then he got another RFE because they needed more financial information from him. Combined the two held us up for three months which seemed like an eternity but wasn't really a big deal.

Hi ,

we got a RFE because we didn't wrote BY HAND the date & location on the photos. Plus they asked for affidavits that confirmed that we met in the past 2 years.

I'm expecting an RFE for my fiancee's g325 and letter of intent faxed and maybe if they ask for my flight ticket and receipts.. I was wondering though. Once RFE Is returned with proper documents, will we sent back to the end of the line? I'm VSC and once close to the 6 months and I receive an RFE are we due for another 6month wait..?

At least instead of flat out denying due to lack of documentation, they RFE giving you a chance to make up. If they see something obviously wrong with the case then they may deny you instead of wasting their time with RFE process. It's just my personal opinion.

Hi, just want to share my RFE experience.

I have a joint sponsor because my wife is a student, and of course like the starving college students we are, she doesn't make enough. But like an idiot, I forgot to attach my joint sponsor's proof of citizenship. So that put the whole process on hold for a couple of extra weeks. Oh well! I sent it, they received it, and now they are in the process of scheduling my interview.

Just wanted to share that with those who have joint sponsors. Do not make the same mistake I did.
