Yes, so long as the sponsor earns enough to meet the requirement. If he can support you and whoever else and is above that % above poverty line - he can go ahead and sponsor.

Thanks.

But what would I write in for previously sponsored people who are currently permanent residents..cause technically my wife still is not a permanent resident. Would I write 0 or 1?

Thanks for clearing that up smile.png you got me scared for a minute tongue.png

No worries! LOL At least your spouse should be here by the time you do your taxes for 2013 and if not, I'd file an extension so that they have time to get over here, get an SSN and do the MFJ! :D

Alright folks, the January thread has been posted: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/472916-nvc-filers-january-2014/

Please, EVERYONE, move your way on over there. It doesn't matter if you got your NOA2 or not in December, everyone always moves to the CURRENT month (now being January). This isn't like I-130 filer threads where you stay in the same thread the entire time no0pb.gif

Hello all, I have sent in my AOS & IV packet to NVC last week. I just saw a lot of post saying to send in evidence of relationship with IV packet.

Is it possible to send it now? If yes, Which address will I send it to? I did submit some pictures to USCIS but nothing else. What should I do?

I mailed to my husband my NBI.. together with my Birth Certificate & our marriage certificate from NSO.i got my NBI last April 2013. i'm thinking to get new one if NVC will not consider the NBI i have.

And as dwheels said, the case won't be sent out until an interview date is assigned. And then it's usually the day after that in which the case is sent out. Time to review the bottom of post 2 ;)

It'll probably be accepted at NVC, but depending when your interview date is, it may be past the expiration, so you'd need to get a new one.
