Consulate Review: Nepal
Review Topic: F-2A Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 4, 2014
Embassy Review : As told to me by my spouse.

Interview was at 1:00pm. Reached there at 12:15 and there was already a line of about 20 applicants waiting. She was allowed in before 1:00 pm itself.
After the security check in she was given a number and told to wait.
When her number was called she was asked for any other documents that she wanted to submit. Fingerprint was also taken and package was handed back to her ( originals that was sent to NVC ). Then she was called for the interview after half an hour wait.

Questions asked were:
Name address of petitioner.
Sponsors Information.
Has she been outside of country.

She was looking through the wedding photo album as she asked these questions.

That was pretty much it. She said that she was going to approve the case and asked to come back two days later to pick up the passport.

Good luck to all.
Feel free to ask questions if any.
Rating : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
