Awesome, has to be better than Zatarains or Tony's, gonna mix some up. I know I prefer my own dry rub over store bought spices.

I do too. I want others to try making dishes at home so I say to buy the prepared spices. Spices and seasonings are expensive and I recommend to wannabe home chefs to buy 1 or 2 spices now and again until the shelf is well stocked. Then make the seasonings oneself. It is easy to do and very rewarding.

Zatarains is a good brand to buy of prepared seasonings. If any have the spices the above recipe for Cajun seasoning will closely appx. the Cacheres or Zatarains but more awesome as we made it ourself.

Awesome, has to be better than Zatarains or Tony's, gonna mix some up. I know I prefer my own dry rub over store bought spices.

I prefer raw myself. But it's at your discretion.
