Everyone go home, find a turkey, and f**k it.

I can't wait to stuff the turkey!

I'm going to post throughout the Thanksgiving holiday at 4am local time.

And then when we make fun of you you'll claim that we are jealous.

Made Jambalaya last time home. I wanted red beans and rice. She is shifting to my Etouffe.

Use all chicken broth to cookthe rice instead of half water and broth. Of course the chicken livers is mandatory but I use ham bits in mine. Onion, celery, green onion, bell pepper and liberal use of Cajun seasoning.

Sound good. I really like jambalaya but I haven't made it in ages. What's your dirty rice recipe?

Do you use white rice?

Yes always. I use the Thai Jasmine rice. Also I put in a lot more liver and ham than one would usually do. I like to make it a meal in itself.

You should. I do use extra virgin olive oil to cook the liver and ham bits. Also last time Iused more like chunks of ham instead of dicing it and may always cook it that way in the future. Wanted to add that I use some garlic also.

I'm going to have to give that a try soon. It sounds excellent.
