I will put this here for anyone still confused about their recent case transfer.

If this applies to your I-130, the USCIS expects a 2-4 week turnaround once your case has been transferred to receive your NOA2.

There are several people that have reported that when they put in a request for expedite it went to another pile and are waiting for review. Me thinks this has slowed down the process for these filers

I myself got transferred Nov 21. If somebody will create a list or spread sheet of people who gets transferred, it will all give us an idea of what to expect.

Approved 6 Months and 4 Days after NOA1. 1 Month and 3 weeks and 4 days since case was transferred to NSC.

July 12, 2013 - NOA1

November 21, 2013 - case transferred to NSC

January 16, 2014 - NOA2

January 16, 2014 - Shipped to NVC

January 28, 2014 - NVC Received

March 10, 2014 - Case Number and IIN assigned; Provided beneficiary's email address.

March 11, 2014 - DS-261 Available and submitted to NVC

March 11, 2014 - AOS Fee invoice available & paid

March 13, 2014 - AOS package sent to NVC

March 14, 2014 - AOS Bill Payment "PAID"

March 17, 2014 - AOS package Delivered to NVC

March 20, 2014 - IV invoice icon changed from locked folder to yellow exclamation. Only for my daughters' case, my son's case icon still locked folder.

March 21, 2014 - Daughters' IV invoiced and Paid

March 25, 2014 - Son's IV invoice icon changed from locked folder to yellow exclamation.

March 27, 2014 - Son's IV invoiced and Paid

March 27, 2014 - IV package sent to NVC

March 28, 2014 - IV package Delivered to NVC

March 31, 2014 - Completed DS-260

April 3, 2014 - Received AOS Checklist (Daughter's Name)

April 4, 2014 - Sent response to AOS checklist

April 7, 2014 - NVC recieved AOS checklist

April 14, 2014 - Son's Case Completed (now waiting for Daughter's case)

April 23, 2014 - Daughter's Case Completed

April 29, 2014 - Interview Date Scheduled

Hey guys, I turned in my wifes packet for the I-130 on October 23rd 2013 and was shocked today by an approval letter. I wonder if it was expedited because of the storm? We currently have a house in Manila. Super happy it's been approved already. On to the next step!

I am pretty stoked to get a transfer notice in the mail today. My packet was sent to NBC first and now its transferred to the Texas Service center November 22, 2013. Hoping to get my NOA2 soon. God bless the typhoon victims.


oops forgot I didnt have a priority date on mine. Does that mean Im at the bottom of the pile again?

December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

June 17, 2013 - NOA1

November 21, 2013 - Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center

December 5, 2013 - I-130 approved via email

December 9, 2013 - receive hard copy of NOA2

receive email that case was shipped to NVC

January 6, 2014 - NVC received the case ( no case number yet )

January 29, 2014 - Receive case number, invoice and beneficiary ID number

February 7, 2014 - DS261 available online and submitted
