Your fiancée/wife's status will not change with marriage. In order for your now wife to become a legal permanent resident, you will have to file for adjustment of status, based on marriage.

Follow the steps in the link above.

Thanks everyone for your reply and help. I knew that it was expensive but omg another $1000.

I should have asked this question. She has two K2's one who is 20 years old and the other 11 years old. They have to go through the AOS also, right? And what are their costs.

The 21year-old is also $1070 and the 11-year-old is a bit less, $600 something? It's all in the instructions.

You will be spending around $3K for all of their AOS's. It's important you know this and are prepared for it before your fiance and her kids arrive to the US.

Harpa is correct. Here is the short version of the USCIS fee schedule for I-485:

http://www.uscis.gov/i-485

Consult the full instructions for all of the details.

Good luck.

Hello! Either way. The SSN is not required to get married or apply for AOS. However, some SSA workers do not know their jobs very well and think that if you marry then you are no longer eligible to get the SSN on a K-1. They are wrong of course, but you would need to let them know that and even ask for a supervisor if need be sometimes. He can apply for his SSN as long as he has at east 2 weeks left on his I-94, married or not. If the time on his I-94 runs out, then he needs to wait to get the SSN until he receives his EAD, about 2-3 months after filing all the AOS/EAD/AP paperwork.

He might as well print out his I-94 info and go apply as soon as he can.
