It is possible that nor all cases will be transferred to a service center. It is logical to assume the transfers were designed to ease the load at NBC and the remaining ones will be handled there.

I think the glitches are pretty overwhelming. For the first 6 months, the only service center that popped up for me was Vermont, but the entire time, every time I called they said it was at the National Benefits Center in Missouri. THEN, NBC was the only available selection, then a month later, ALL service centers (CA, VT, TX, NE, and NBC) show up. And they ALL show a processing time of 11 months and a national avg of 11 months. VT I think shows 10.4 months when I select it though. (even though TX shows the bar graph all the way to match the 'national average' at 11 months, it actually says 'weeks' instead of 'months' below the display of the bar graph). So I'm pretty sure it's ALL screwed up and that's why I never trust what I see there, and just keep calling periodically.

Me too! When we applied, we thought for sure by Thanksgiving. Now we are just gonna plan on May...he works at a ski resort and gets better perks if he stays the whole season. Really didn't want to acknowledge and accept that May (or later) is a more reasonable expectation for him to move.

Texas service center = 11 weeks! Damnit, I have bad luck :(

It says 11 weeks but looks like 11 months, according to the graph, although I think it's ALL wrong and misleading, so I don't put too much into any of the info USCIS throws at us.

- called embassy every day after the interview, during AP status and after visa status changed to "Issued," asking about status update and visa delivery timeframe
Feb 4-5, 2014 - Wife went to medical exam (took two days), results mailed to US Embassy in Manila.
Feb 7, 2014, Package sent from NVC to US Embassy in Manila (according to NVC phone operator).
Feb 10, 2014 - CEAC website updated case as "In Transit."
Feb 11, 2014 - DHL website shows case as delivered to US Embassy in Manila.
Feb 12, 2014 - Called US Embassy in Manila and interview rescheduled for Feb 25th.
Feb 25, 2014 - "Approved," but we have to submit CENOMAR then wait for visa after it's processed, so I guess technically it's in Administrative Processing (AP).
Mar 17, 2014 - CEAC website, visa status changed to "Issued." Now we wait for pickup/delivery.
Mar 21, 2014 - Juvy picked up visa from 2GO location, got CFO stamp, and I booked her ticket.
Mar 22, 2014 - Juvy left Manila, through Japan and Detroit, and finally onto Houston!! :-)
THE REST OF MY LIFE CAN NOW OFFICIALLY BEGIN!!!

PD is March 04, 2013. I just called USCIS and spoke to tier 2 and they said, "As of today, your file is being transferred to the Nebraska Service Center." The case status online has not changed and it still says Initial reveiw, "your case was received on March 4..............................................."

The confusing part is that the processing times section does not appear if you check your case's status by logging in to your USCIS account; only if you check the receipt number directly.

I just noticed the Processing time charts say they were last updated August 31.

I thought they were supposed to update every 30 days and it was around the 16th of each month that it would update?????

I've noticed that since I first checked status updates online back in March, that the processing times always seemed to be based on the 31st of two months prior. The closest update I ever saw was in September. I think it was early September and the timelines were "As of July 31." But besides that, it's usually been two months delayed.

They update every month, in the middle of the month, but the data is delayed. So that August data was posted mid-October and in a week or two they'll post September's data.
