I was just reading a thread where the sponsor made less than the "required" wagsehold of 3,,and that said sponsors mom was going to be a co-sponsor and her income was only 39K

and she too had to help support 3 people on that.

#######??? do these girls coming here know what they are getting into? some guy who makes 20K ayear shouldnt be allowed to bring back a Pinay,,he needs to focus on his career.

Why is the US allowing this? they need to NOT allow a co sponsor for K-1's,,they need to adhere to this policy,,,,period.

They are obviously not as good as you. Is that the answer you want?

Lots of K1 couples are young and just out of school, so not established yet. It's not always a case like yours of "bringing a girl over" (or whatever weird little thing you're into).

so you're saying that as long as the guy makes a lot of money it's ok - otherwise it's not!??

So then, it's all about money and not about love?

That's a seriously twisted way of looking at things IMHO.

Immigration is about love, not about living as a rich person. At 125% of the poverty level the petitioner has shown they can support the intending immigrant. When the immigrant arrives and receives the proper paperwork they will probably start working too adding to the income of the family. If all you are worried about is money, suggest you look to another country. In the US by the time you pay for housing, food, gas, and health insurance there is little left over except for the 1% of the US population that holds most of the wealth.

Flash news to other VJ posters: The nincompoop attacks once again!

Please don't take the OP seriously. He simply escaped from his straitjacket. He doesn't care about your words of love or logic. He only enjoys the attention that you all give him because he's not getting enough from his fourth Filipina fiancee.

well if the sponsor makes less than his mother who makes 39K ( a ridiculously low wage in itself) and she has to support 3 kids on that,,,how can she even be considered a co-sponsor???

immigration isnt about love,,,and its not about coming over here and getting food stamps either just because some young person feels they are in "love"

Love??? gimme a break
