That wouldn't surprise me at all. That's another fun thing about Asian culture. If you don't like the truth, lie about it.

Ill tell you this much. Living over there for 3 years, I never felt more safe off base. Like Karee pointed out before, you could fall asleep on the street and not be worried about being robbed or killed.

I don't know about all of them. That would be kinda racist. I can only speak about Thailand where it definitely seems to be ok, especially if you're lieing to make the other person feel better or cover your own a$$.

I actually asked a customer once in Thailand why they outright lied to me about a contract they promised to sign. The answer was something along the lines of "I didn't want to hurt your feelings, or I wanted to make you feel better" I guess he didn't understand about sales quotas and meeting your number for the quarter and then having to come back and explain to your pi$$ed off boss in D.C. how Thai culture works. This kinda thing seems to be the rule there, not the exception unfortunately.

So all Thailand people lie

You know that is so in violation of the new and improved TOS

You're welcome, some folks have said it and I appreciate it.

To answer your other post about 50% of murders, there is so much wrong in the black communities that need fixing, there isn't just one fix. Blacks know that it's internal for a lot of it, but as I said before the police and the government need to do their part as well. If they won't support those who follow the laws and arrest those who commit crimes, what chance do we have?

Conversely, you could say that Japan's lack of gun crime has to do with geography, not their gun laws. Also their ultra xenophobic immigration policy probably helps as well.

Piffle. What decade are you living in?

I have never seen the figures in the earlier post where you said that 83% of blacks don't own guns. It just astounded me that the murder rate was so high. But now that I think about it, you were probably talking about legal gun owners?

Those who commit crimes should be arrested no matter what race they are. And the police should support all law abiding citizens regardless of race. Ditto for the federal, state and local government. Crime is crime whether it is in the white community, black community, Asian community, etc.

I'm also guessing that there are large numbers of people in the poor areas who really don't care about changing things at all.

Check the video, Toure' post the statistics. And you're correct, these are the legal gun owners. The bulk of the shootings are either gang shootings that hit innocent bystanders or drug or gang beef.

You're right, the law is broken by criminals, yet these monsters are back on the street the next day. The police don't even care to respond since they don't care about those folks in the community they are paid to protect. And since folks don't care about themselves it's a double edge sword.

Once again agreeance

It's not uncommon here that when someone kills someone they already have 7-10 felonies at a very young age

The flip side is people complain we lock up too many people, specially young black men.

You are on fire today with truth and vision, so what is the answer

You want them off the street

or

we lock up too many young black men
