1. I am 36 years old and have never driven a car until this year.

2. I drive one-handed a lot even though my car's an automatic - my left hand's on the wheel, and my right's slapping my thigh in rhythm with whatever's playing on the stereo. I also found out that oddly, I can keep my car straight with my left hand on the wheel, but can't with my right hand. And I am right-handed.

I cannot sleep (or have a hell of a time doing so) without a fan, or at least some droning noise in the background.

I actually buy a fan at my destination each time I travel on business and in some hotels they store them for my return....

I can't leave the house without going around to check that every single heat source or electrical switch is off. I have driven away and then driven back if I can't remember if I turned off the stove/iron/kettle/ for sure just to check.

Here is a bonus: My husband's eyes change colour . . sometimes they are hazel, sometimes they are green and sometimes they are blue/grey. And no - he doesn't wear contacts!

My eyes do that too! Sometimes they are really hazel and grey and sometimes they are really green and no I wasn't wearing a green shirt that just made them look green. When I was younger I noticed that whenever I went swimming in the pool they turned hazel.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Ditto.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

My edit time ran out... (oh how I hate that feature....)

I have tinnitus and the droning noise covers up the ringing in my ears. I am also hyper-sensitive to sound. My next door neighbour coughing will prevent me from going to sleep. Incandescent light bulbs make noise, in case you didn't know. I can't sleep with a light on. However, someone can say something to me and I won't hear them. My hearing is selective and not under my control. If I'm in a room with a lot of different noises, my brain will fixate on one and everything else will go unnoticed. In a restaurant, for instance, I'll hear a whining kid and will fixate on that, completely oblivious to what the person at my table is saying, the fire raging across the street, or the car crashing through the front of the building.

Once I'm asleep, however.....

I slept through the apartment across the hall from me burning down 6 or 7 years ago. Fire trucks, firemen, fire alarms, smoke, water, falling walls..... I slept through it all.
