Give it at least 2 weeks then you can start calling the NVC. It can take up to 90 days for it to get there though.

Same here! I just called the NVC this afternoon and was told by a Rep named Donna that my AOS and IV packets are "in review" and to "check back with us next week". I hope it's for a case complete and not a check list. whistling.gif

That's interesting that they told you to check back in a week. The rep I spoke with just said, "they are in review" and "you'll need to give it some more time." Notice how they didn't give us their standard "wait 20 days" line? Maybe it's a sign that if there are no checklists they will get approved soon.

Congrats! How did you find out your interview date? Did they email you or did you have to call?

Called DOS. Their response time is under 1 minute!

The rep. said the email with instructions should come in 3-5 days.

And since they told you your case is under review, I think you might have a resolution tomorrow!

Whenever I call NVC, they keep telling that they receive packet but they can't tell me whether it's AOS or IV etc? Is that normal?

When should tell able to tell me an answer about which packet is under review and which aren't?

I just receive a text that it was approved yesterday.. I am a APRIL filler's 2013

Now i got a new text it say's

On July 30, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

what does it mean? do i need to call NVC now?

I think you got your approval usually uscis emailing your petitioner about the approval and wait for noa 2 letter in your us mailing address. call national visa center then. goodluck kabayan on this nvc processing.

Yes, that's normal.

In their system they only input that they have "mail awaiting review". The operators don't know what it is until the review has started. Lately, it seems that once they start the review, and they tell you what they are reviewing, you will get a response within 24 hours (acceptance or checklist)

They are averaging 16-18 business days from them receiving the packets until the review starts.
