Consulate Review: Mumbai, India
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 6, 2013
Embassy Review : Got approved today. Interview went well. I was a first person out since there wasn't that many applicant's on my interview day. Very easy going interview. Mumbai staff is really helpful if you have any questions or problem. Consulate was very friendly. Asked for DS-260, Passport Pickup confirmation letter, Medical report, PCC, and return originals that was send to NVC, and asked to wait on First window. Waited around 30-40 mins to get my second interview..

Few basic questions asked during interview...

(1) What your husband do in US?

(2) Where he lives right now?

(3) When he went to US?

(4) What are your plannings once you go there?

(5) What kind of wedding was it? Arranged or Love Marriage?

That's it. Got Approved and provide us with a letter stating how to pay $165 fee before you go to US. That letter also have your A-Number which also know as your greencard no.

Don't need to get nervous since you telling whatever is true so nothing to worry about.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
