Hi Guys,

My wife is currently working in the Philippines. We are in the NVC stage. DS-3032 just got accepted and im expecting it to get invoiced soon. I was wondering since my wife has 30 day notice with the company she is currently working in, and she has to take care of other things, is it a good idea to have her resign at the end of the month? The reason is, I dont want to wait till she gets her interview or her visa to resign, because that will mean I will have to wait 30 more days. When visa is in had, I want her to leave asap.

My concern is will this affect her interview or her chances of getting approved?

The employment of the beneficiary means absolutely nothing in this process. I was unemployed the entire time in the visa process and had no issues. They only care about the petitioner's job.

Good news! Just called not too long ago and they told me that my AOS Checklist is in review!! So does that mean that maybe this week they'll close my case?

Have you paid the IV bill and sent that package (your signature does not indicate if you have or not). If the answer is no, then your case will not be complete this week.

Niki your right just finish calling NVC the operator told me for Singapore there is no more slot for interview for August. and as of the moment they will start scheduling for September interview. this coming August. so this week until next week July 31 no more scheduling. For interview so need to wait till August. so sad I was cut-off for the interview schedule

I emailed IV package on July 8, 2013 and DS-260 online. Hasnt been reviewed till yesterday afternoon. Should I send supervisor review?

Are we getting the mail about AOS acceptance? Till yesterday, the lady from NVC did not tell me anything.

I send my DS-3032 via email 2 weeks ago and I haven't get any reply back yet. I constantly checking on NVC Online Payment center whether IV Bill is been posted or not. I also send an email with "Attn: Supervisor REview" but I haven't get any reply back from there as well.

Can someone please suggest me what can be done at this point?

It has only been 11 business days. It can take up to 20 business days for them to review something.

Note. They reply to my first email which I send it almost 20 days ago...Stupid NVC Email take forever!!

Our IV bill was invoiced today! I'm still waiting to hear about the EP optin though. I'm hoping it doesn't take too much longer because I'd really like to send both the AOS and IV stuff in as soon as the DS-260 is completed.

That question is more for lawyers and attorneys. It doesn't really apply to spouses. If you want to fill that part in, you can, but in my opinion, you can skip it.
