This is what I see on our case:

On May 8, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting evidence/information for this case to you or your representative. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the material requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence/information or the opportunity to submit it expires. A new processing period will begin when we receive your response. You or your representative will be notified by that office of a decision or if any further information or action is needed from you. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I am lost! I feel like a panic attack right now.

1. How long does it take for this letter to arrive? Do people answer you over the phone about this RFEs at the USCIS?

If you guys knew what we sent... We sent a file with approximately 600 pages including:

- pictures

- phone bills

- skype, gmail conversations, emails

- flight tickets...

- wedding prep. documents...

- the ring certificate?

What exactly could be missing? Is this something I need to be worried about? Is too much too bad?

FYI they made a mistake at the beginning and put that I was from Salvador Bahamas instead of El Salvador. Could that be related?

Any comments or experiences from also RFE's requested would be greatly appreciated.

It could be anything. You won't know until you get the letter in your hand. Maybe you missed a signature. They can't access the info over the phone.

From my experience in RFE, it arrives in 1 week or so after you received that email. In that letter they will explain you what they need from you.

Dont panic. It could be something stupid.

Good luck!!!!

maybe it just a simple RFE. i got RFE too from K1 (filing stage)...i forgot to check the "NO" for criminal background then after 10days of sending my reply i got the NOA2.

the hard copy usually takes about 7days. but it depend if your closer to the service center. i got my RFE hard copy after 3 days. because i leave closer to the service center (CA). now, on my husband AOS i got a RFE too....it's takes about a wk to get the hard copy (RFE copy come from the other state).

my advice as soon as you received your RFE send it right away...send it thru USPS overnight with signature waiver due to PO box address.

goodluck!!!!

Maybe they couldn't find what they were looking for in that massive stack of papers...

You will have no idea what it is until you receive the hard copy. You won't get any info over the phone. It should arrive in under a week. Just be prepared to move quickly so as not to lose too much time.

Good luck!

Usually when you send the I129F package, they don't need all those relationship evidence. Just a couple of pictures and a letter of intent from both of you should be enough. You will need the evidence when you go to the interview there you can send the 600 pages to your fiancee. What they require is signatures. They don't want photocopys of signatures but the real made by a blue or black in signatures. Maybe you didn't get your fiancee to sign her G-325 or you missed a signature.

Hopefully it is something that you can quickly correct and I hope everthing works out for you. It took me a year to get my fiancee through the whole process. Hang in there and if you have any questions, you found the right place to be at!!
