Yeah, I signed up for case updates, and set my email. Now, I cant log into that site. Its says wrong password. So when I click that link for new password, it shows me how to change login name. I dont know how to get in. Anyway, just hung up the phone with my love in Malaysia, and I could be wrong, but I just cane feel diffrent feelings about things lately. Is she stressed over this like I am???. Is this taking toll on her like it is me???. Or, is she riding the easy way and not thinking too much, cause she always tells me to be strong,be patient!!!

ughhhh this sucks USCIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved NOA1 febuary 8,,,,i'm hoping to be approved by Ausgust. That is what the bottom of my timeline in VJ says to be adjudicated..Can I really go by this???

It's such a frustrating process. We all just have to stay on them. There really should be more accountability. I understand they get backlogged but it doesn't take that long to adjudicate a case. And I can definitely relate to the little arguments. Ugh.

The USCIS says what it wants to say and is accountable to no one, by all appearances.

I'm just glad it only took 8 months to get my NOA 2. It could have been longer.

Oh, and the timeline is pretty useless unless applications are processed at a consistent rate and in order of receipt. So at times, it will be close, at others, not so close. It can't predict changes in processing rate in the future.

its pathetic, were starting to have little arguements sometimes because of the distance between us....this is really hard to do, and dont think it should take this long

i know what u mean about little arguments over the distance...it's really tough being apart from the one you love..just have to keep our hopes up.

I know exactly what you mean - we go thru the ups and downs , stupid arguements - lack of patience and wondering day after day when we can finally be together and just start living - sick of the phone glued to my side sick of checking the uscis website. Its 6 1/2 + months since our NOA1 and im so ready for the next stage....

god help us all

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Somedays communicating over Skype is so difficult that all we can do is talk about fluff. I've never been much of a phone talker and she's not much of a writer, so some days the patience wears thin. I really hope VSC pics up for everyone just like CSC.

Frustrated here as well. Was seeing VSC crank out approvals lately at a steady rate. Then just when they get close to to our date, they have now stalled out again. When I called last, they said they are overwhelmed with DACA and immigration reform (whatever that means).

Sick of skype and bad video quality too! I can't wait to see my Fiancee's non-pixalated face in person.

You have to remember of course that we are only going on the data of those on VJ, the real number of approvals in a day is unknown. I wish everyone going through these processes were aware of VJ, as it's been such a help for me and I feel sad for people out there going it alone, I don't know how I would cope.

We've just passed the 6month mark at VSC & received an email from USCIS on Friday saying "address has been changed in relation to your petition". We had not sent in a change of address so my Fiance (in the US) phoned & asked to speak to Tier 2, whether he actually was passed on or not is another matter, but they said no changes had been made...so why did we get an email? They also said they were still processing JULY! Thanks to VJ we know of course that they have done many past July, but I guess if there are some incomplete July petitions, that's what they have to say!

My last rant is, how can they state we are within their posted processing times, when the posted time says 5 months & we've been waiting 6? Or if they mean the date posted when your petition was received, I still know we have passed that too!

Every time I receive an email, my heart leaps a little in hope, not sure what it will actually be like when it really is the email we're waiting for!

Oh, in case other beneficiaries don't know this, on USCIS website, you can create an account to also receive email updates as well as your fiance.

A couple of points for you, first when you get something saying your address is being changed, it usually means a NOA2 is coming soon. Secondly, I have heard that actually USCIS starts counting at month 0 not 1, so if you go by that logic then I am really just over 4 months NOT just over 5 like my ticker shows. I am sure some notice is coming from them soon! Good luck!!!

I agree it sucks. I have only started the process but there is only so much skype and text a person can take. But as another member stated, we don't know how many non VJers are being approved on a daily basis. We have to remember that the percentage of VJ vs total petitions submitted is only on average about 6% so on any given day, of applicants approved, may not include anyone from VJ.

This actually makes it worse for VSC compared to CSC...if we take the small percentage of CSC and look at the past week, this means CSC has approved over a thousand, while VSC has approved around "70" for the week. :(

You only applied two months ago, not sure you can really blame USCIS. Maybe you are both not ready for this.

What I want to know... Is why does VSC post their current processing time as 'five months'? Kind of ridiculous really.. It just gives people false expectations and is completely unrealistic and misrepresentative. Plus it actually makes USCIS's life more difficult, because more people must call and make service requests because they think they'll see NOA2 at five months.. Why don't they post it as six, or seven? At least that way people would have a more realistic expectation. Meh! So silly.
