I'd suggest calling up again and requesting to speak with a Tier 2. Most of the time, Tiers 1 don't give out useful information headbonk.gif

I did talk to Tier 2 (ISO).

I didn't give Tier 1 (CSR) much chance to waste our time!

2. My documents has been shipped/sent to NVC but they said they don't have it.

looks at the photos, boxes are pile/stack up high  and this is probably 20+ years ago I assume?.

3. Lastly......the girl seem to be an operator is so happy answering your call.

Now.....don't quote me on it, :reading: , , enjoy ......!

Hi Mady, I'm just curious behind the logic of how AOS & IV from review to entering to system since you in this limbo  . Basiclly what I have learn or read is....they received our documents >>> scan bar code of cover letter " now doesn't this entered our case to their system? just curious." >>> they will review them page by page >> go back to computer send enter accept or RFE? is this how it work?.

Alot of people posted here that they call at mid day for example and find that their documents not in system then they call again to find that their documents were scanned , reviewed and approved. Thats wt happened to me with the Aos package . also Some ppl whose nvc received their packages after mine and their packages were reviewed .one last thing i also read documents are entered to the system once they start reviewing the package .

Mady, Think of it this way. Its an office and people do things differently but in the end its the same. Maybe "Mary" gets a stack of files and scans all the bar codes before she starts on them. So all the cases show in the system. Even if she has not looked at them yet. Then maybe "Fred" Looks and reviews the file. Then scans it and marks it completed. That would explain why some show for days and others go from not showing / just showed that day to completed.... Just a thought

Your words make sense .... i think you are right ... its not about queue now .. Thanks for sharing this :))

Hello,

I called NVC today in the morning. They reviewed IV package and sent RFE.

We were missing originals of my birth certificate and marriage certificate. We sent them April 9th. NVC asked me to call back in 20 days, but I will be optimistic and call them next week :) If they were able to review IV package in 14 days, maybe they will review RFE in two weeks also :) fingers crossed!!!...

For me the ISO's all said it was shipped and one even opened a service request. Just because the NVC says its not there. Doesn't mean it's not in the mail room. I got a reply 3 weeks after about my service request. The USCIS said my case was shipped to the NVC on 2/17 but the NVC didn't say they received it to 3/11.

This ISO also started to say that it was shipped, but when he said "probably" on the 4th, a day after NOA2, I asked him to confirm that that's when it was shipped. He then acknowledged that they "don't have that depth of information". I even asked could it be that he can't see it in the system because it didn't ship, and once it is that it will show up in the system, but he insisted that the date on when the case leaves USCIS does not get entered into the system.

So, it seems I just need to talk to several ISOs before I get one that knows what they are talking about.

Did your ISOs tell you when it was shipped, or just that it was shipped? I wonder if one needs to do a service request to find that information out (that actual date).

Saylin,

I called yesterday regarding missing birth certificate. Spoke to supervisor and mentioned that i had sent in a baptism certificate and will bring birth certificate to interview. He said that they will review the documents again and call me to let me know the decision. Should I wait to hear from them or call again today?

yea of course the wait is worth it.. but my life is on a stand still and im going to be honest trips to Cuba are well near the 500's round trip its expansive! it isnt like other country's were its like 200 i wish!! i would go once a month... so its kinda hard to sit here and wait ive been waiting since September when i got married.. if i knew this would take this long from the start i would have never gone forward with this its hard im 21 so i guess my immaturity has some kind of role in it :bonk:

200s? Try over 1200 dollars for a round-trip Houston to Belfast. That's actually cheaper than last week; when I checked then, it was over 1400.
