i just had a look of Igor's list, VSC march 25, 9 NOA2 done; meanwhile CSC 0 done. Plus, the graph bars beside the Igor list of VSC is showing they are almost done with Aug. and Sep files, meanwhile CSC graph maitain the same bars as 3 or 4 or even more months ago. I'm currently at a country where i had work, but now workless, everyday here for me is waiting this visa, but the truth is just making me hopeless day by day, almost want to do a protest, anger and despression.

Now, i probabaly will transfer it to china, buy the ticket to come back to china. feel so ....don't know how to say, it's too stressful and screwed up, how could the government let people suffer like this, they should add the capability of dueing with more work not delay and make others suffer so much.

Because they just don't care.

Maybe they are eating and pooping a lot instead of working.

Now we know where they have been spending their time, instead of their desk working. Seriously, they don't need a plumber, they need to see a doctor stat

Just saw on USGIS site under alerts that CSC is closed due to plumbing issues. They may be closed tomorrow also.

You mean they've been open the last six months? Could have fooled me.

Next we'll be hearing in the papers about all of these I129F's showing up in the local sewage drains, haha.

It may just be about time to contact the media on the issues the CSC is having lately.

Loving the jokes on this thread, making this wait a little more entertaining. But seriously this whole thing is frustrating for us all and I have just been lucky enough to have had a visit from my usc man for my birthday, now he is home and I read this, been feeling lonely enough! CSC gonna be feeling some squeezing from us all if things don't get moving soon!!!

Let just keep the jokes coming and try to remember the end will come..... eventually!!

Good luck to you all :) xxx

From a law firm website:

DAVIS BROWN LAW FIRM

One of the four main processing centers for immigration benefits applications has temporarily closed because of flooding from plumbing problems, USCIS announced today, March 26.

Deliveries by UPS and Fed Ex during the last couple of days have been delayed and the delay will continue to during the closure. US Postal Service deliveries go to a PO box off-site and apparently were not delayed per se, although USCIS does not consider USPS filings to be received until the PO box deliveries are picked up and taken to the Service Center (which is an odd rule given that both are federal government agencies).

The announcement did not indicate whether application processing would continue. Adjudicators are often able to work from home (and do so in the ordinary course of business), but how much work can be done while the center is closed is unclear.

As CSC is one of the two sites that accept and process H-1B filings, the closure is particularly concerning so close to the April 1 filing date.

However, the government is well-aware of the upcoming deadline and we will closely watch for any instructions regarding H-1B filings in light of the situation at CSC.

When CSC re-opens, it will be important to watch the receipt dates on I-797 notices if the date would affect your case. If the case was filed during the closure, you should retain your shipping receipts or print out shipping information on-line to prove when the application was actually sent and delivery attempted. Beneficiaries should not be harmed by the closure, which is beyond their control, but proof of timely filing will be needed to make this argument.

Premium processing has not been suspended, so applications filed in that manner should be adjudicated in 15 calendar days, or the petitioner is entitled to a refund of the $1225 filing fee.

This is another issue we need to raise in our long litany of complaints. Are they going to make up the processing days? How will the missed work be mitigated? It's not as if they are not already hopelessly backlogged. This is another example of the lack of accountability that we need to be urgently addressing in any way we can. That we just idly by and say "be patient" and "there is nothing you can do" are useless platitudes. Action needs to be taken and now.

What would "action" look like exactly? My fiance is calling his congressman today. We are just under 5 months since application but he is calling about all the issues and delays. Is the that best "action" we can do??? Any thoughts?
