So, so happy!!! It seems to have been an eternity. :) :)

Can anybody explain to me what I need to do now and what are the next steps? What are the estimate timescales for these steps?

There is hope out there. Hang in there to everybody still waiting, your time will come! :)

Congratulations, we just recently got approved. We waited to get our case #, which took about two weeks. Now my fiance has scheduled her medical and will wait for our application to be forwarded to the Embassy. We are going to schedule her interview very soon. I am sending her my I-134 and appropriate documents, paystubs, Tax Return, W2s, new Letter of Intent to Marry for both of us, Employment Letter, Bank Statements, Divorce Documents if necessary. Good luck.

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

What have you been doing for 7 months that the next steps are a mystery?

Not helpful at all.

The guides (specifically the K-1 Visa Guide and K-1 Flowchart) will give you a hand here. Basically, your petition gets passed to the NVC (National Visa Center) - who will then, assuming all is well, mail it over to the London Embassy.

But before then, start ringing the NVC to see if you can get the case number and get the medical at Knightsbridge booked. You'll also need to sort out your ACPO certificate. Like I say, the guides have all the answers!

No need for the rude comments. I have a year old baby to bring up!! :/

I have an idea I just need it clarified. If you dont have anything nice to say, don't say it!

Exactly my point. Not everyone is ultra-prepared and a know-it-all. That's why there are forums - so people can ask questions and get answers!
