We met three years ago when I went there on a mission trip that was completely unplanned and by the hand of God. I was there for three weeks and Marcelo was apart of the church we worked with everyday for 16 days. We became friends and when I returned to the US communicated almost everyday through Skype. From the beginning God showed us we would be together. I have visited him 2 more times in Brazil and we are positive that we want to marry. It has been one of the most difficult, yet most beautiful things of my life. God makes the most terrible situation beautiful in every way. As God awaits and longs for His Bride (His people), so it is with me and Marcelo. We count ourselves blessed that we get to experience a part of God's heart that not many will understand until they see Him face to face. You all are blessed to VJers =).
