Hi Ess, great! When did you send this? Was it by email?

I wonder if I can send the DS-3032 email now? Just got my case/IIN numbers but no invoice yet...

Thanks, Yes I sent it via email yesterday and it got accepted in seven hours kicking.gif Don't forget to write "Supervisor Review" at the beginning of the Subject. This works.

Methinks NVC data operations finally got 'caught up' and are MAYBE doing stuff 'same day'. That'd be a blessing, really.

Where's the proof? Where's the pudding? Check the NVC Online Payment Portal - see if you get an IV Fee Bill Wednesday or Thursday.

Go Get Em !

The Supervisor Review thing worked, and now fingers crossed for the IV Bill :) Hope all is done soon.

Hi everyone,

I got an email from NVC Attorney - with the subject <CASE NUMBER>(LIVAOS COMBINED FOR NEOPOST DS-1200).

Although I am not sure what the subject means but I am was happy to see this email.

In that email there is an attachment of 5 pages. The first 3 pages are instructions and general information.

The 4th page is Affidavit of Support (AOS) Processing Fee Bill Invoice of $88 along with a bar code.

The 5th page is Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice of $230 along with a bar code.

I think this means that my DS-3032 was accepted and both my AOS and Packet IV have been invoiced. I went to the payment portal and I can now choose to pay for both.

I just wanted to confirm because I never got a formal email noting that my DS-3032 was accepted (although I did get an email from a supervisor confirming that they have removed the attorney).

So does this mean, I can go to the payment portal and pay the fees. Is there anything else I need to do before paying the fees?

Looks like they invoiced both fees since you had a lawyer (before they got to removing him). So grats, you got one good thing out of him before he was removed ;) Nothing you need to do, but pay the fees! kicking.gif

is interesting that all came within the same email. you have an attorney or a G-28 submitted with the I-130?

the thing you received is loosely labelled the 'ds-3032 kit' and is referenced over at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/ The IV Fee bill rarely is included, is only included if there's an attorney of record or if the G-28 was filed with the I-130.

Methinks the word 'Attorney' in the email somehow signifies that there's an attorney attached to the casefile at NVC, somehow (your attorney, that is)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

That's great - so now I just pay the fee and wait for Fee Bill to show up as paid? I will pay the fee tomorrow morning itself.

Darnell - yes the subject does say attorney. I did get an email yesterday - before this email with the pdf saying:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: <case number> filed by <> on behalf of <>.

We removed the attorney of record from this case. All future correspondence will be sent to the petitioner.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

Also in the pdf on the first page it says

You are registered as the attorney of record in the immigrant visa case of <>. As such

you must review communication and processing requirements and options which may apply to this

case. Go to the U.S. Department of State website at www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov, and click the

"Establish communication and register an agent for your case" button. Review the "Embassy/Consulate

Specific Requirements and Options" to determine if any apply to this case.

Then it goes on to list the two forms with my name as the petitioner and my wife's name as the beneficiary.

So I am assuming this is good - nothing to worry here? Or should I email them to clarify?

Now, I am just confused. May be because I got reply to DS-3032 within few hours. It says

"We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032. "

Now does it means its accepted?unsure.gif Hopefully

Great, see, the email was fine, now you can breath... before you start thinking about invoices! laughing.gif

I think MsHogan said that she was able to pay both of her sons' before she was even able to see hers. Might be common to be able to do the kids first.

Am I the only one?

Called today and was so happy to finally get our NVC case number, Invoice ID, and Beneficiary ID. But when I tried to give them our email addresses they said they couldn't attach anything at this point because the case number had just been created. He suggested I send an email with our email addresses. What do you think? Email or call back in the morning? Also, it seems pointless to send the DS-3032 via email if they can't even attach our email addresses to the case yet.

Comments anyone?

Still we're very happy just to have our case number and things are moving. I've been calling everyday for two weeks straight.kicking.gif

Roosha,

I called again and the operator asked me if I wanted to add an email address. I did. Then he said to wait until we received our DS-3032 in the mail, 30-45 business days - yikes, before doing anything else. Guess I should ignore that and send it in now as an email, right? That's what I am going to do.

I completed the payments for both the AOS and DS-230.

The portal now shows as payment in process.

I also printed out the coversheet with the bar code.

Do I need to wait for the payment to be accepted before I send out the packets for AOS and DS-230

Also - I know this has been discussed before and is also on post 1 - but do you guys recommend sending the Tax Returns along with the last 3 years of Tax Transcripts?

I want to ask this because - I have tax transcripts for 2009,2010 and 2011.

I just finished doing taxes for 2012 so now I will have tax returns for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. So I am wondering what I should do.

I was thinking that DD's MTL# is one ahead of mine might have something to do with it as well.

TBH I have a screenshot of MsHogan’s signature on my desktop so I can follow along the steps. It kinda feels like cheating. ;)
