Wow. They want you to wait another 4 months before calling back? They don't even want to look into it for you? That's just fantastic! :( Sorry to hear that....

On the other hand, they haven't passed your priority date yet on the website. They show July 18th, and you're July 30th.

I agree they just say anything. We have been told by Tier 2 supervisors, and Infopass supervisors at least 3 times each that we would hear something within 2 weeks - it really meant nothing. Give it a little time and just keep trying - 120 more days doesn't sound realistic to me.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I agree to take USCIS information with a grain of salt. I made an InfoPass appointment on Wed at my local office and I was told my petition would "definitely be denied" because I am missing an unobtainable document. The very next day I was informed that my I-130 was approved. They literally had me sick to my stomach wondering if I should withdraw my petition and move to India to try and find a way to get this doc.

My point is don't take them too seriously. They are all horribly misinformed and their "misinformation" line is notorious for giving wrong answers.

I am the petitioner.

I filed on July 19, 2012. Three months ago was told my Petition was two days. They are working on July 18th 2012. For three months they have been stuck on July 18th???

Received a generic E-mail, explaining how behind CSC is. and not to contact for 120 days? Would be interested to hear any update from others who are waiting, or received same letters.
