Hello guys

I m out of united states and visit my family then last night my wife called me and told me that we have got a letter from uscis and our I-751 package is approved.

I will receive the new gc in 60 days I m so happy !!!

but when I checked the uscis page it still does initial review I think they did not updated it yet

We found the updates a either never happened or ?. But congratulations have a great trip. My wife's card and letter arrived on the same day.

Heads up to avoid unnecessary panic - someone in the April filers received a letter from USCIS that their case had been transferred to another office. This freaked them out a bit, as it was unexpected and didn't indicate why this had happened. Someone else did some digging and found that 7/29 some VSC applications have been transferred to CSC to evenly distribute the load. Sent off our RFE finally. They recieved it 08/19/2013. Fingers crossed that this will be enough. I inclued 3 personal avifafits, 3 years of our tax transcripts, Insurance statement in both our names for the last 3 years, and the lease agreemnet. (Which the last was a freaking nightmare to get ....KEEP Copies of YOUR RECORDS!) So we are indeed hoping to get a positive response from them. Lord knows why they RFE'd us in the first place. The evidence we sent the first time was exstensive. Anyway positive thoughts.

You can stand me at the gates of hell, but I wont back down.

Hey guys..so we had an RFE last july 16, sent off Aug.16 And received by csc Aug.19...finally!!!!! Card has been approved!!!!yahoo!!! We received an email today stating On August 22, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. :)

USCIS:

07/21/2010 - NOA1

02/07/2011 - NOA2 approved! 201 days since NOA1!!!

02/14/2011 - NOA2 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

NVC:

02/15/2011 - NVC case number assigned

02/16/2011 - emailed ds3032 to nvc

02/17/2011 - gave both our email address.

02/18/2011 - DS3032 accepted.

03/15/2011 - AOS & IV paid. both "IN PROCESS"

03/16/2011 - AOS & IV show's "PAID"

03/24/2011 - Mailed AOS & IV pack to nvc

04/13/19/2011 - received an RFE email from NVC about my ds-230 and AOS form =/

04/22/2011 - (ds230 & Aos)Checklist sent to nvc

05/04/2011 - Sign In Failed!!! :)

05/05/2011 - Case Complete! :)

05/16/2011 - Interview Scheduled!

06/09/2011 - Interview date "APPROVED"

thank you so much!!!

I m still out of country and my wife did not received the GC yet. is that normal to wait that long since my wife received the approval letter from uscis almost a week ago.

do I have to worry about it or do I need to wait more ?

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on August 26, 2013. The USPS tracking number assigned is ##############. You can use this number at www.usps.com to view updates to the delivery status of your mail. :)
