I sent everything yesterday. And now trying to keep up with everyone else, and will try to help if I can

So I was reading forums

just found out

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/401325-help-needed-with-first-step-in-paperwork-process/

I have written B in I-485 Part 2 as I dint know. I had asked that question here, but guessed that it should be easy to understand and thats why no one replied. so I checked B as the option

It should be A right?

I'm on H-1B

and my wife is Citizen.

Now, what happens if something is wrong in the forms.

what should I do? or just wait what they have got for me?

:(

It's A.

You may be RFE'd or possibly issued a straight denial.

They can change small errors like that. if they notice the error, that is. They won't straight deny you for that. I'd expect an RFE, and then you can be pleasantly surprised if you don't get one.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Thanks for your reply.

Usually when should I expect the RFE if they send any?

Before fingerprinting/Bimoatrics?

IF you get denied, there's no way to know if you will or won't because sometime they do surprising things, you will need to file everything again AND pay the fees again.

I don't actually know how long it takes for them to send you the RFE, but straight denial is highly unlikely, so please don't worry about that. They may just ask you to resend it with the correct marks...or they may just overlook it. Don't worry, it is definitely not a straight denial. If you get a straight denial it is not because of your answer B instead of A....it's something else then! Good luck!!! And don't lose your hope! :)

someone in another post said he marked H with a note says FILED CONCURRENTLY WITH I-130 PETITION BY CITIZEN SPOUSE

I will file my application next week. Is A right one for one who holds H1-B married to Us citizen and filing both I-130 and I-485 together?

I also have a question of how you filed the package. Did you file the I-485 and I-130 in different envelopes or all documents together in one big envelope?

I filed all my documents together in one envelope. but seperated 2 different packets.

1- I-130

2- I-485

Its A as an answer. for H-1b married to USC

I'm in the same situation, I check B too, but it's A for me...I've sent my package today.

If you have sent it recently, try to Intercept mail (USPS)

I tried that, but it reached there before they can intercept it (getting back to the sender)

I believe in destiny and luck, and I tried stopping it. and it dint stop, so I think thats what written in my destiny,

now its time to wait.

good luck
