It is very frustrating to learn that it took someone only 5 months to get approved without sending any evidence and after 9 months of waiting I was denied for lack of evidence . without any notice what so ever to send more. Now I had to file another form to reopen the case and send all evidence. And probably have to wait another 5 or 6 months. Very unfair how they accept some papers and not others. These forms are not the cheapest. I know it will be all worth it in the end because I love my Fiancee very much, but it's just very unfair. Just wanted to vent

I think it depends on the person who look at your petition , its his/her decision to give u rfe for more evidence or deny you for lack of evidence.

We got all the way to the interview and are now being asked for more evidence. It's definitely a tough road, but like you said, you WILL be with your fiance in the end. I wish you all the best and the next time you file, send them every piece of paper and evidence you can possible produce. Good luck!

Actually a vj member did post about this, however her sponsor is active duty. So maybe the requirements for active duty military are not as strict.

I agree it can be unfair but everyone has to send proof ...I sent tons of proof but you know it's a Journey sometimes it gets bumpy and sometimes it will be smooth. Love conquers everything... just have faith and believe Good Luck and GOD Bless
