Why is your application being returned? Is it for improper payment of fees? What is the problem. How can anyone help without further information? If you are married and still living with you hustand then you most likely will not be deported. Please explain the problems you have in order to get advice.

Yes, please provide more info about the reason they gave you to deny the AOS application. That happened to you twice???

If your visa expired and your AOS application still is not approved, then you are out of status. You need to work on the reasons of the rejections. Please clarify more.

the first time it was returned was lack of additional documents and the check it says its over bcoz we send $1450 for AOS,biometrics and work permit..so on the 2nd time we see to it that all supporting documents are there and we send already the right amount of $1070 but it was still returned and the notice say that they(uscis)were not able to associate our payment with our filing...we dont know what it means

the first time was lack of supporting documents so we fix it all and refile then it was returned again because they said they cannot associate the payment to our file..but we did follow the instruction in uscis website.its a cashiers check

Take all your information that you sent and had returned, along with anything USCIS has sent to you, and ask them. You can make an Infopass appointment at your closest office. Let them sort through what you have and tell you what is missing. Then you can refile correctly.

Out of status simply means that you have no actual visa to cover you being here. It means you can't work and you can't leave and then re-enter the USA. You may not be able to obtain a driver's license either. Some people have taken up to 2 years before filing for AOS, don't worry about that issue, you are working on it and can show that.

AOS Timeline
Filed 15th June, 2012
NOA date 18th June
Bio appt 20th July
Transferred to CSC 21st July, 2012
EAD/AP approved 27th August.
Received Green Card 6th October. No Interview. Amazing!
Thanks for all the help, see you again in June 2014

Mailed Package 30th June 2014

I-797 received 5th July, 2014
