Just got off the phone with the NVC inquiring on an interview date and was informed "Your case has been expedited and sent to Montreal today, Nov. 1. You would have to call them for further information".

"Expedited"??

I thought the NVC set the appointment in conjunction with Montreal? No? So we should hear from Montreal in the next day or 2? B-)

No  Although they had lost our I-864 and we had to resubmit delaying our closing which prompted us to send an email to "Supervisor" requesting they don't delay processing of our case due to their error. I suspect "expedite" was just the CSR's terminology for moving the case along.

That email you sent, they took it as an expedite request apparently. If the operator says they sent it to Montreal (I'd triple check this with other operators to be sure), then NVC will no longer be scheduling your interview, but Montreal instead. You'll have to contact Montreal or DOS to find out when they schedule you an interview.

Oh My.

Sorry, now you must deal with Montreal.

Good Luck with that.

Did the USCitizen Spouse ask for an expedite, or no ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

echo - call NVC 10 times over the next 24 hours (NVC still open la)

and inquire for casefile status.

Simply ask for casefile status, aye?

Good Luck !

Why would he call the NVC 10 times in one day?

To find out if their case has been sent to Montreal or not.
