We are waiting for our NOA2 and CSC our estimated timeline when our petition will be adjudicated on just got moved back from mid November to mid Dec. Does anyone know if CSC is slowing down or if they are perhaps experiencing problems etc??

Just trying to get an idea as to why it has moved back so far.

.

So.... That's a question that will probably not be answered. When we filed our petition back in April VSC was moving quite along and quickly changed while the CSC started speeding thru their petition approvals.. VSC was still processing January while CSC flew threw february into march. CSC was processing applications at practically 60-90 days while the VSC was processing apps at about 170-180 days.

From other VJ members views it just tends to go back and forth. VSC will speed up and the CSC will slow down and vice versa. I wish you a speedy approval, good luck!

USCIS

03/31/2012: I-129F sent to Dallas Lockbox

04/12/2012: NOA1 hardcopy.

09/06/2012: Service request placed- They advised I should hear something by 9/21

09/17/2012: Received letter from USCIS just to be told i'm within' normal processing time bleh.

10/03/2012: NOA2 text received - Best part is it's our 2nd year anniversary!! Great Gift! :)

Sydney Consulate

10/21/2012: Packet 3 Received

11/30/2012: Sent packet 3

12/27/2012: Received packet 4 Interview date :)

01/22/2013: Medical completed

02/05/2013: Interview date status: APPROVED 306 Days!!

02/22/2013: Visa in Hand

02/24/2013: POE- Dallas, TX- then connecting flight home!

Total Time it took to complete our K1 process- 10 months and 3 weeks!!! INSANE! (325 days)

They have changes in processing all of the time. When I first applied, CSC was still working on 2011 petitions, while VSC was processing a lot faster.

*** Thread moved from K-1 Progress to USCIS Service Centers forum -- topic involves service center operations. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Honestly, I am started to get pissed off at that whole stupid US immigration system. I have lived in the US for over 3 years before filling and now i am away from my fiance and he is away from his son. Why? because it freaking takes 5/6 months to process a stupid sheet of paper ! If it wasn't for Ron not being fluent in french, i would never put one foot back in this country ever again ! Sometimes i'm thinking of cancelling everything and have him live here (he wouldn't mind if he was fluent, but he is only learning) . Plus i've always thought my country to be much better than the unfair US system, i made a sacrifice for my fiance and family, and what? I have to wait for that....

So yeah CSC was moving along pretty fast and they suddenly stop processing just before it is my turn of course ! I'm probably going to visit him on the VWP once before i get the visa because it is really getting annoying. And by the time i have the green card i will make sure we are able to move back to France before i have to apply for naturalization.... I will NEVER want that citizenship ! I am fine with being French (and also Italian)so if he doesn't want to follow us he will stay there without us (me and the kids). So basically except for my fiiance and Abercrombie I really hate the US, their immigration law (stupid as hell) and most people there (especially girls!)

Sorry i had to get it all out ! No offense....

No offense? Perfect example of why so many people around the world can't stand the arrogance of the French! Sad that your husband is married to such a b****. If you hate America so much, then do us all a favor and just stay in France.

Completely agree with you MrsB2012. The French government lets anyone into France. I would rather have USCIS be thorough than to just approve any old petition. I have to wait too, it's hard but come on, my husband left his daughter here with me in the US when he went back the England.

And again, as Mrsb2012 said, if you hate the USA so much then stay in France. And it doesn't sound like French girls are that great either, missy. God Bless America!!!!!!

It's unfortunate, but the CSC seems to usually receive a lot more petitions during the early summer than they are fit to handle. Tends to result in a backlog building up during late summer and fall.

VJ timelines aren't based on actual CIS processing times, but rather recent processing times as reported by of VJ member timelines. Thus, it won't pick up on changes in processing times until this has been reported by VJ members.
