Don't you love when someone on the internet decides they have the authority to define who you are or what you believe and why you believe it?

It is one of the miracles of modern technology.

It allows total strangers to make a complete and comprehensive analysis of your personality and political persuasion, and tell you who you really are, where in most cases you may have spent your entire life and not have known that yourself.

I never said I found those principles in Obama, but I most certainly do not find them in the modern day Republican party. Mitt Romney brings absolutely nothing new or different to the table than the very same policies of GWB that brought the US economy to it's knees. The Republicans haven't practiced fiscal responsibility in the last 30 or 40 years. When was the last time a modern day Republican President carried a balanced budget? Don't hurt yourself trying to think of the answer, it's none, yet there have been 2 Democratic Presidents who have.

Other than the right to bear arms, the modern day Repubs have drifted so far away from their core of principles and beliefs, that they have alienated a good number of their members, I happen to be one of them. The main core of the Republican party of today are nothing but religious busy bodies that want to tell everyone else how to live their lives, kinda like you Danno. That's something I don't want to be a part of and thank you for opening my eyes further to what the modern day Republican stands for.

The day I allow some internet tool like Danno to tell me what I believe in and where I stand, is the day I don't deserve the right to vote. Isn't it time for church, Danny Boy?

BTW, I'll leave my membership card at the door.

Air you go.... I knew we would get to that "one" issue that overrode all. Nothing wrong with being a one-issue voter, it's a sign of principle. You just gotta be honest.

I can read the stitches on a fast ball.

That is great news. If true, the next GOP convention will be held in a phone booth in Buttfcuk, AL.

Oh you're back.... I noticed you had kinda dropped out as "The One's" poll numbers dropped.

Come election day, you better show your face Dude... I want to see those tears.

Says the "principled" guy that burns to vote for the emptiest candidate that has ever run for President, the candidate that lacks any principal whatsoever. Good Luck with that.

I've been off the radar not because of some silly poll numbers but because I have other things to attend to at the moment.

Congratulations, Danno. You seem to have identified the one single issue on which Mitt has not flip-flopped: Mitt hates gays. Always has and always will. That is unless he is told that he needs a few gay votes. Then he'll love them, too.

All you got outta that was "one" issue Danno? I see the modern day Republican party is drastically failing in educating it's base also. That's probably a good thing for them though, makes it easier for the sheep to be led to slaughter.

It's such a pleasure to read an intelligent post from someone who has the ability to think for themselves and not be swayed by the negative bullsh1t that comes from every direction.

Very rare thing on here.
