I have a new thought, however malformed.

Is possible that the local office thinks we're filing an I-130 for the start of an AOS, instead of consular processing at GUZ IV.

I'm on hold with an ISO now, to verify...

Darnell, as I understand you called an ISO and found out that you will have a local interview? I will have my husband call them later but my question is if they tell him that he also has an interview comming is it possible for him to have it at the embassy here because he doesn't live in US for the past year and a half?We also stated our foreign address on all the forms

Also I need to ask if he need to have a certain problem with the petition in order to request for an ISO or when he gets on the phone with a live person asks streight away for and ISO ?

I use a simple thing, to get an ISO.

A CSR can't see my casefile, at all.

If you can see casefile status with your receipt # at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

and you NOT see much, then is possible that there is more, and is possible that only an ISO can see it.

If you can't see casefile status at all (most OCT FILERS with MSC #s can't see anything, is no record found)

then is dead easy to be transferred to an ISO - just tell the CSR that you have a MSC receipt # and you can't see any casefile status and you know an ISO can see it.

Finished up with the call.

One thing that I verified - it IS NOT part of an Adjustment of Status Case, it will be pegged for Consular Processing, interview later in Guangzhou. Whew ! One less thing.

She did suggest that I make an infopass appointment and go over the expedite request with an officer at the local office. If nothing else, they will finally 'get it' and perhaps schedule that appointment quickly...
