Just sent in the final package! (DS-230)

and yes... I sent in the original Police Certificate with translation and a photocopy.

today being Oct. 4th how soon will I hear about the interview date? like 2 weeks?

it's going to be in Paris, France.

First you need to focus on case complete. Only after that can an interview date be scheduled.

Woohoo! Case complete!! Now for an interview date!!! kicking.gif

Grats! kicking.gif

Case completed yesterday. Now to wait for the interview date.. and hope that they send my documents to Sydney!

Looks like the Sydney Consolate should have my documents on Monday. http://goo.gl/uyNpZ

You can only use tracking AFTER a case has an interview date scheduled. That is NOT your case.

Oops, must have read it wrong :P

Sooo.. has anyone ever had their PC go missing on the way to the consulate? I have copies of everything but I seem to be missing a copy of that (plus, it was on some special paper that wasn't A4).

Nope. They send by DHL, and have it marked as diplomatic papers. It'll get to its destination ;)

Woohoo. So they won't ask to see it during the interview, given they've already asked me to provide it?

Depends. If they receive and accept your IV package before the monthly day where they schedule most appointments for France, then most likely the interview will be in November, and you will hear from them probably by the end of next week. (Unlikely if you just sent your DS-230 but not impossible)

If not, then they will most likely tell you in November that it is in December. I say most likely because they also schedule on random days to fill cancellations and whatnot so if you don't hear next week, don't despair, the interview might still be in November :)
