WE are approved for our conditional Green Card!

Despite our age differences, race differences, socio-economic differences, sensory differences, and "geographical" differences.... we got approved!

Our interview was 15 minutes long. We had prepared 3 inches worth of information in a binder and the interview officer only needed to look at a total of 5 to 8 pages... and about 25 photos, he only wanted to see 4 of them. Strangely, the photos he wanted to see was the ones that took place where he volunteered.

Interview Officer asked him, "What have you been doing for the last 6 months?" He replied, "Volunteering" The IO wanted to see the photos of him volunteering. That's it!

OUR JOURNEY BEGINS!!!!! WOO HOO! There's HOPE!

Thank you guys!

I am still reeling from this. We have to return in 1 year and 9 months.

We need to do our homework and see what's expected from us within that time frame.
