When they say "original police certificates" does that mean from their own country or from both their country and the US (if they have a criminal history)? Do the "originals" have to be certified/stamped in blue ink and obviously not copies of a certified/stamped disposition?

If the beneficiary ever lived in the US, then a PCC isn't needed. They do their own background checks. Only PCCs are needed from other countries where the beneficiary has lived. And original means just that, the original from the issuing authority and not a photocopy of the original.

Some kind of proof of employment is a really good idea. Two options: employment letter or pay stub(s). Is there no way she can get an employment letter? And does she have a pay stub?

does my dad-in-law needs an employment letter since he contributing his assets to the joint sponsor (mom-in-law) or just her ?

Spoke too soon.. just received an email from the NVC accepting the DS-3032 that I emailed.

So now it's just the IV invoice and I am good!

(can't pay my AOS bill until tonight.. silly US bank accounts lol. I don't have my check book with me at work (hurts me to say.. check book.. like it's the 80's!)).

Needless to say I will be writing my routing/account codes down so I have access to them for situations like this.
