Looking For Opinions Concerning K-1 evidence

Hello Again To Everyone ! I am hoping to apply soon for my Fiance that lives in the Philippines . I am curious if the 13 total chats / mails that I have may be enough evidence . I have 4 mails from the beginning of our relationship in 2010 and 3 chats from 2011 and 6 chats from 2012 and I can print some more from this month .I have had nothing but PC problems along with printer problems and just want to get the I-29 F started as soon as possible . I left there from my visit with her on November 30, 2010 and need to get this done as soon as possible because I am having more PC problems . Thanks and Goodluck To Everyone ........ Terry

As others have said, you need to prove you met in person within the last 2 years. Chat logs do not work for that. You need to show passport stamps, plane tickets, receipts showing you used your credit/debit or ATM cards there. Back that up with a few photos from your visits together. File soon. Your 2 year window is closing in about 3 months.

Thanks to everyone for your replies !! Yes I do have pictures and boarding passes and all those things that we discuss here . I was just concerned with those chats / E-mails because ever since I have decided to start this K-1 Visa , I have had nothing but bad luck in so many ways ! This PC is a 2003 model and I know it has been a good one but now is not the time to go crazy on me . Good Luck Everyone and I hope to start my timeline really soon !! .........Terry

Just a little FYI. I am not trying to be a pessimist here, and I understand you are having PC issues. When the time comes for the interview, that is the time that evidence of an ongoing relationship counts. Emails, chats, phone records, letters, cards, receipts etc. all come in handy at this stage. It is at the CO's discretion for what they might request to see from you. I am not sure what you have in an actual total that could be presented, but I think what you have stated here could be questionable. Only 4 mails from 2010, 3 chats from 2011, and 6 chats from 2012? If this is the case, I am not trying to be negative. I just think you should probably find some way to communicate more often while you wait for petition approval in order to convince the CO that an ongoing relationship is happening.

good point.. on-going relationship, what you have already PLUS many many recent evidence (since filing) should be good. Start collecting as you go, you have a lot of time to build the case, and most recent is as good or better than old (as you can always explain you did not get serious about collecting until you file).

You need to start to get your stuff together for the second part of this process.. I would definitely consider another trip before the Visa Interview if you haven't been there since 2010

Hello Celeste & C .... ToddnJessa .....L+T and Kennym , I appreciate your replies . I do have 10 pictures of us together . All the other things like the reciept where I rented a room for a month at Her Building Of Residence , Flight Iteniary where she flew to Manila with me and reciepts where we stayed whille in Manils RE : my flight To and From U. S. / Philippines and a printout od the Thousands of phone calls that we have made in these 2 years ! I was mostly concerned about these few Chats / Mails that I have for now so I can go ahead and get this I 29 F completed and sent off and my fiance has plenty to add and I also will have more to add to the package that I send to her after I am approved . Yes, save all the relationship stuff for the interview, just prove you have physically meet in the 2 year time before you filed.
