are all these illegals paying there fees to process there work permits?

No some do get waivers so can only imagine that processing and how do you validate that since well they are illegal. Funny how I haven't read one NOA2 approval since yesterday has anyone else.

So, they come illegally, stay illegally, adjust status for free, and get better benefits than those that come legally. And from what I see, some illegal immigrants are getting better benefits than USC's.

You must not be near illegals, I stood at polling place last election and watched them come and point say NO ID get ballot be back in line in 30 minutes, speaking not a word of english.

If they had no ID how do you know they were illegals? Did they have something stitched to their clothes that identified them as such?

I have never shown my ID at a polling place and I am not planning to do it anytime soon, out of sheer principle. That does not make me an illegal.

Yep. Makes me hot when I sit here all the money spent. Waiting and waiting on a case# and doing it the right way and with our embassy in Lagos could still be denied and have issues because a CO had a bad day or something.

In Nebraska FREE tuition for illegals its in the state constitution. Yet sally and tom American can't send their child to University of Nebraska cuz they can't afford it. Let me stop before I really............

Their AOS fee is $465, which is the same paid by others.

Consider that they will not get a green card at the end of their filing, whereas your beneficiary will. You are waiting for another result.

Yes you are right. I am mad anyway at USCIS for losing me for 30 days and NVC for well being slow. Not illegal childrens fault.

Personally this amnesty or whatefer it is should have been something that was done long ago just to make things right. But still I don't get 2 years. Than what they illegal again? Hmmm Makes you wonder though if so many companies here taking advantage of illegals and bascially holding them hostage as to how they get paid them becoming illegal wonder what will that do to wages and hiring going forward.

I mean I am Sally Sue undocumented worker you can pay me anything really under minumum wage (I doubt many illegal workers are making minumum wage) I can't complain nothing. Now I am documented, have work permit guess what I just got a raise to minumum wage baby. Just wondering.

The big problem is that these people that came illegally and had babies here.....now these children have no country, and many of them are not children anymore. They have no country to go back to.

Um, if they had babies here, then those babies are US Citizens.

It's so tough when people form opinions on misinformation.

Perhaps we shouldn't underestimate the political priority of an Executive Order mere months before an election.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'll have my popcorn waiting on election night. I always enjoy a close race. Atleast it will be interesting if nothing else. Have we heard if this was the final number? I mean...didn't it start off as a mere 800,000? I was expecting another leap in numbers.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

I live in South Florida. We have a large population of young people who fall within this category. All the interviews I have heard and read about this point to a very low number of people applying initially. Most have expressed concern that filing will expose them to the government with unknown consequences after the election.

Any political windfall came the moment the President announced this incentive. Speculation as to these applications taking priority over others purely for votes is ridiculous.

Pretty good anecdotal evidence, I think.
