I have been spending too much time on VJ lately. I visit this website on average every thirty minutes to see if anyone has posted anything new. This wait is driving me crazy.

Is anyone in a same state of mind as I am?

i have been waiting since Aug.11th/2011 for this whole process to come to an end. i am BEYOND impatient. going crazy fits the description a little better for me. i check my case status and this site just as much. so yes, same state of mine. and im sure everyone on this site relates some how. GOD SPEED all of your journeys.

Day 000- 08/08/2011 - Petition for alien relative (I-130) mailed to Chicago Illinois

Day 003- 08/11/2011 - Text and email confirmation from USCIS of receipt

Day 013- 08/22/2011 - Received receipt for I-130

Day 198- 03/07/2012 - Text and email confirmation of APPROVED I-130!

Day 203- 03/12/2012 - I-130 approval letter received

Day 323- 07/05/2012 - AOS package (I-485 + I-765) mailed to Chicago Illinois

Day 329- 07/11/2012 - Text and email confirmation from USCIS of receipt

Day 332- 07/14/2012 - Received receipts for I-485 and I-765

Day 336- 07/18/2012 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice (biometrics) for 08/02/2012 @ 8:00am

Day 341- 07/23/2012 - Biometrics early walk-in SUCCESS!

Day 372- 08/23/2012 - Text and email confirmation of Interview date set for October 4th, 2012

Day 372- 08/23/2012 - Received interview letter in mail!

Day 384- 09/04/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card Production. OMG! approval feels good!

Day 390- 09/10/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card mailed to address on file

Day 390- 09/10/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS picking up mail from USCIS

Day 393- 09/13/2012 - Received EAD Card in mail!!!!

Day 393- 09/13/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS reporting the EAD Card was received by customer!

Day 414- 10/04/2012 - Interview and on the spot APPROVAL! PERMANENT RESIDENT!

Me too. I'm on the site everyday and responding to some of the posts (like now). I also find the site extremely informative and am learning from others.

I know what it feels like, I've been calling almost everyday to see if there were any news!

Our case was approved yesterday. And now it is done and I look back, it honestly wasn't that much of a deal. We stressed ourselves out more than was needed.

So although it's easy for me to say now it is almost done, everybody relax and enjoy the present time. The journey will be even more satisfying once it is all done!

Me too...I am waiting to get the case number assigned. I am almost ready with all my documents to be mailed (as soon as I get the bills paid), filled up the forms, etc. I know after all this other long wait will be getting an Interview date. Its so painful :(

WOW you got NOA2 and received at NVC the same day? You sure. We have the same NVC recived date though 7/30 or are you waiting for receive date I'm confused. My case was hung up lost at CSC for a momnth I was NOA2 6/29.

It`s truth that we stressed ourselves out more than was needed.

I know two guys that do not know anything about the procedures. They are waiting so quietly.

I should be one of them :) but it is stronger than me :bonk:

on the same boat. promised to myself this morning no VJ stuff today while @work. but got an approval notice from USCIS for I-539 (from B-2 to F-1 for my nephew). and got tempted to see if any update here too :)

Yes, they recieved my case on 30th July. Since then I am calling NVC daily and they tell the same thing that we have recieved your case on 30th july and it was scanned on 2nd August, please allow us 10-20 working days to generate case number......blah blah.....

01/17/2012 - I-130 Sent

01/18/2012 - NOA1 Date

07/30/2012 - NOA2 Email Received (194 Days since NOA1)

NVC:

07/30/2012 - Case arrived at NVC building

08/20/2012 - Received case #, IIN, gave both e-mail addresses

08/20/2012 - E-mailed DS-3032 (used email template & also attached scanned copy)

08/27/2012 - AOS bill invoiced & PAID online
