I'm at 6 months as of today, so unless things change drastically I'd be prepping for a wait if I were you. Trust me, it feels better to think 6 months and feel great when it's only 5, then to think it's 5 months and watch the clock for the next month or more. Trust me on this one. blink.gif

Agreed. Every single day over the 5 month mark has been horrible. Heartache, depression, wondering ####### is going on and feeling like they're holding me hostage. I was fine up until 5 months (though anxious with hope), but everything over that SUCKS.

well im with CSC and just got my NOA2 after 236 days. it all depends in the case whether u get noa2 or not. but i think VSC is a bit backed up. be patient it pays off! good luck

I am so close to complete 6 months and 1 year since marriage so depressed and hopeless never saw my hubby all this period it really sucks and our whole life is on hold now even we stopped calling them , I have an idea why don't we collect each other and make a protest agianst uscis LOoooooL it may works :)

I got word yesterday that my I-129F petition has been expedited and should get the NOA2 within the next 2 weeks.

This was from VSC and today is Day 75 for me. So it does seem that Vermont is slowly making their way through the petitions?

I just had a thought... USCIS has a Facebook page here:

I wonder if we all started posting on there, asking why VSC is so back logged, if we would get any response? One person, they could ignore. But all of us? Just a thought....

Also, just saw an online ad that said, "Mitt gets things done." Oh, really? Let's put that to the test lol!! :rofl:

Just wondering.. I probably already know the answer but..

Has anyone who wrote messages on facebook gotten a response? I am in the process of sending a message as well (hard to keep minimizing windows when your boss wont sit down.. LOL wacko.gif ) ....maybe if they get flooded enough between calls and emails and begin to take note that we are well aware of CSC moving much faster... maybe theyd attempt to pick up the pace or transfer cases... wishful thinking i know.

11/15/12 - Approved I-129F NOA2 (6.5 months!!)

11/29/12 - NVC Received

12/10/12 - USEM Case Received

1/17/13 - Interview- computers crashed.... or so they claim!

1/28/13 - New interview date- Admin. Processing

2/4/13 - Denial- No waiver can apply

July 14 2013 - Moved to Vienna with my dog and 3 suitcases!

JE06... Love the boss comment; I have the same problem! I think if we ALL were to message them, it would help. Just one or two won't cut it. It has to be in large enough numbers to make an impact.

I just sent them this message:

Good Day,

Many petitioners at MyVisaJourney.org have noticed that the CSC is processing K-1 I-129 petitions quickly, while VSC is extremely slow. CSC is now on May filings. I have filed in March and still haven’t had an answer. Could you please, please, somehow let us know why there is such a terrible delay at VSC?

I'd hold off on the Facebook posts for the VSC. My guess is if they see someones post ripping on them for taking so long then what's stopping them from spilling coffee on your forms and having to start the process all over. I started month 5 a few days back after receiving my NOA1....I miss my girl.
