Went up to Oakland and they let me do it today - yippee! Bit of advice - if you have 485/765 and 131 make sure they are all on the form or you'll need to do it again - I noticed and luckily the manager was able to add the I-131 (after a bit of why are u coming here early!!)

That's werid

My I-131 was never on the bio appointment. And I think it's the same for most people

I only have 2 barcodes on the form which are for 485&765.

I got my AP&EAD combo card 12 days after my appointment without any problems

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Could you share what happened? Are they too busy/crowded? I remember seeing other VJers who are successful on 2nd attempt walk-in, since there are always different people on duty.

The security guard let me in but then said i needed to speak to a supervisor. He was quite grumpy and says that no centers allow walkins - I just think he wasn't very helpful - i spoke to a fellow VJer who had tried san jose and was told that they have over 250 to process a day so they are busy. Oakland though - a totally different experience - security guard was the one handing out the numbers - i was half expecting no but he was so helpful and 'yes you can come early - but just because you have pretty eyes' hehe - i think it really comes down to how busy a center is and what people you deal with.

Congratulations! Was it a breeze?

I calledUSCIS yesterday to ask about thiss issue.the thing was my zip code is 29301 but in the letter i recieved was printed 20301 thats why they send my to the one in VA (8hrs away from my house) instead of the one near my house ( which is 20 mins away). They told me i can come to the local office in the same date appear on the letter to get it done. But i made an Info Pass apoinment to ask about this issue a couple days ago, thats why i came there and told them again. The gentleman was super nice he said he will let me get it done right away and he was sorry about the mistake. That was lucky because i heard somebody said sometime they met unfriendly person. Anyway, if you guys had recieved biometric letter, i would recommend to take a chance to do a walk-in. This is the only thing that we can control to make the process faster (i hope!)

Gd luck you all
