Interview went swimmingly. We were only in the building for 13 minutes, and approved with a stamp in my passport!

-officer informed us we're being video-recorded

-we were sworn in

-they asked me the questions on I-130/I-485 form (verified my info and all the yes/no questions),

-asked my husband to verify his personal info, including where he was born

-asked how we met

-asked to see whatever pictures or proof of relationship. We'd brought a small album (about 25 pics) that had half wedding pics and half 'other' pics of us while we were dating, plus our ultrasound pictures. (I had heard that many people hadn't been asked for their wedding pics so I didn't want to bring a lot). The officer asked how big the wedding was, and we answered it was around 200 people, and he commented that it was large. We replied my husband had a huge farm family. He didn't need to see our marriage license since the copy was in the application. In fact, he didn't ask for any originals of the documents in the application.

-officer asked if we brought a lease. We hadn't because only my husband's name was on it. He didn't respond as if that were problematic.

-the officer said, especially since I'm pregnant, he could see this was a bonafide relationship and would approve our application. He then gave me the new welcome booklet, explained the temporary stamp for the passport and explained the 2-yr/conditions of the Green Card since we're married under 2 yrs.

-the officer asked if we had any questions, which we didn't.

They did not ask for any financial information (originals or otherwise), nor originals of any of the copies in our application (license, birth certificates, etc.)

Caveat: we interviewed in our small-ish town by the border in which my husband was born. I'm working as a schoolteacher and the EAD had an expedite put on it by the state Senator's office. I'm Canadian, English-speaking, caucasian, and visibly pregnant with our first child (unexpected, but convenient).

So, that's that! If we hadn't had a nearly two-month interruption to sent financial information (RFE #! and #2 from Aug 21 to Oct 23-ish), we might've had the whole thing done in 3-4 months, but it's done now and I don't care! *L*

I'm Canadian, he's American.

My first appointment was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy, I should have been done this back at the end of October, however - finally had the appointment today, it went well. He said 4-6 weeks for a decision and then my case was updated 6 hours later with an approval :)
