How are you all distracting yourself from checking the status repeatedly? It's so hard !!

Luckily the status online barely seems to change haha, so its pretty easy not to keep looking for me!

I'll probably start checking more often now I have done my biometrics and the next step is my EAD. Hopefully I get news of it going into production soon!

I think it really just depends on timing and location. Looking at various peoples time lines, I have seen it take anywhere from 2 weeks, to 3 months. In some cases, people have had their interviews before the EAD had arrived haha!

I'd submitted my AOS package to Chicago on 23rd Jul by USPS. The package was delivered on 25th Jul at 10.49pm. But I have not received any acknowledgements. Judging by the times most of the people on this thread received their acknowledgements, it seems like mine is taking really long. Any advice on what I can do?

I know the waiting is painful, but it's really not taking that long. They've only had it for a few working days. You'll probably hear something before the end of the week.

Hang in there!

So weirdest thing...I never got a text/email saying they'd received everything, even though I'd included the form. The only thing I can think of is that somehow my rubber band broke and it got separated from everything else (the rest of the package was securely bound together with clips). Has anyone else ever had this happen? I've nearly had heart failure the past few days waiting for that stinking notification. My husband literally goes into an overstay on August 2nd and we need that A/P! Geesh.

I saw that the checks were cashed today, and broke into tears in the middle of OfficeMax. Can you say STRESS? LOL. My friends and family think I've gone off the deep end.
