TEXAS DAD BEATS HIS DAUGHTER’S MOLESTER TO DEATH

So you're theory is children SHOULD witness their parent killing other people? That witnessing such an event wouldn't be traumatic?

I stand corrected, it isn't your reading comprehension that's the problem.

Did I miss something? Where has it been reported as to exactly what, if anything, this unfortunate child witnessed in the beating of the molester? And does she know he is dead? Does she even understand what 'dead' is? And if she does have a rudimentary idea of the fact that this person will never walk or talk again and will never be able to hurt her in the future is that a part of the trauma or is that a part of the healing for her?

I wonder when the child is old enough to comprehend the matter more clearly if she would rather know-

A. My father would over react to defend me.

B. Under react when I need him to defend me.

A. My Father would risk his life and freedom if a pervert attacked me.

B. My father would calmly work through the "system" in a search for justice.

we live in society govern by laws. we dont get to choose what laws we going to obey and which ones we are going to break. we are not savages.

we have a court system set up for this. this is not a vigilante society. throw this guy in jail and teach him a lesson.

I am tired of reading about these folks who feel they are justified in taking ppl lives.

we as a society cannot tolerate this type of behaviour, its very dangerous.

Ironic isn't it that Mel Gibson's character would speak of family values? It would be like Jenna Jameson playing a nun.

Oh, so no one can make an opinion on this unless they have their own kids or... have their own kids abused?

Uh-mazing logic right there. I'm floooored. :bonk:

comprehension skills ...

of course you are entitled to an opinion .... didn't say you weren't

fwiw ... is your opinion based on personal theory or personal experience?

I have never gone hungry and yet, I can promise you it ain't pleasant.

Must one get burned to know how painful that is?

Sometimes it takes just a bit of commonsense...

which some people do lack ...

you've never been hungry?

guess you've never missed or been late for a meal ...

how did you learn "hot"?

guess you've never been burned ....

I have been late for several meals, but mostly due to traffic or looking for a space in which to park.

I learned hot from blankets, fires and the sun. I have been burned but even before that I knew it was not good.

Empathy is a marvelous thing, really!

so ...

being a few minutes late to the table a few times means you know true hunger

sweating ... taught you about being burned

now that we've established these things ... lets try and stay focused on being a parent who is protecting your 4 yr old from molestation

The only one who can answer this will be the child.

FWIW... Professional experience. :star:
