Well it's a good deal they don't have that in Africa. I mean could you just picture black Africans committing genocide against other black Africans because of a simple issue such as tribal affiliation or religious? I mean we all know something like Rwanda was nothing more than the media lying to the rest of the world in order to make a headline.

The same thing happens here in America on a daily basis in our inner cities, black on black crime...

Fraud, in the general sense, occurs everywhere, you are correct. But this specific kind of fraud - immigration fraud to obtain a US visa - occurs far far more often in poorer countries than in rich ones.

PS -- you do know there are albinos of African descent, right? I went to summer camp with an African-American girl who was an albino. She did not consider herself "white" by any means, even though she was paler in skin tone than I am.

I have no doubt that this is how it is viewed. But you do recognize the twisted "guilty until proven innocent" logic of it? How it undermines the dignity and integrity of the human being applying for a visa in a developing country vs. someone like me? Why are my motives presumed "pure" but someone else's are not? Am I more sincere in my commitment to my USC spouse than someone from, say, Africa? Do people with less material resources experience less genuine feelings? Just sayin'...
