I bet it's coming but you can try calling USCIS. The phone number is at the end of the I-751 instructions.

Thanks sooo much! :)

For sure congrats to all with the NOA1 good news !!! Nothing yet on this end. The mystery of this friggin place. I can count at least six people that filed a week and more after we did and they've received NOAs!!! I know this is part of the charm. My g/c doesn't expire until mid August so time is not a pressing matter here but it seems that someone can file their package today and still get NOA before some of us who filed May 14th.....going to be nice to be finished with this system ...good luck to all !!

I have a theory that people with GCs expiring soon get their NOAs faster...

The people after me who have gotten their NOAs say their GCs are expiring in June, and my husband's expires in August just like you. Still no word for us. Thoughts?

My GC expires in August too but I got my NOA 2 days ago.

Laguna Niguel is about 1hr30min from where we live so it takes 1 day to get mail from them.

I'm waiting for my Biometrics appointment letter now. I wish we could just drive there and pick it up, it would be way faster than waiting for them to mail it. :bonk:

It's the US government. No rhyme or reason as to how they do things, but I do believe once packages come through their doors they get farmed out to inspectors and some have bigger piles than others as well as different work ethics than others. With that said, knowing they have 30 days to review packages before they start receiving calls, I am sure that their attitude is they will get to it when they get to it.

You may be on to something. I got my NOA very quickly, 5 days after the date on it to be exact. When I did this, my GC had expired for 2 days. You can see what happened here:

http://www.visajourn...-of-conditions/

So maybe they do worry about sending NOA's out for people that are closer to having their GC expiration date near. Either way, I hope everyones' journey is mostly worry free yes.gif

This is an exciting time now that things are finally moving. I know those still waiting will hear soon! I haven't received my NOA yet (though I haven't checked today's mail), but the fact that my cheque is cashed has me strangely relieved.

I wish the next stage of the waiting process (for approval) was only a couple weeks instead of several months.

Hmmmm...Well I looked at the copy of our cashed check online and it actually has a WAC# written on the front top of the check. So, I went to the USCIS site and put in this number and it would not register. Maybe we should just wait for the NOA :lol:

Okay...our check was cashed on 6/6/2012---I can't view the check image though...it's not available on the ebanking website of my bank. But we still didn't receive our NOA 1 yet....hubby's GC is expiring 6/14/2012....I'm planning to call USCIS on Monday if I still didn't see the NOA1 tomorrow (saturday)... anyone know a good phone number to call USCIS to find out the status? I'm so worried as his GC is expiring so soon and without the NOA1, he can't travel or anything... :(

How strange is that! It may take them a bit to actually update the WAC#'s in their system then. I wonder if anyone else has had the same issue???
