A K-1 entrant does not need any proof of a bona fide marriage for AOS.

However, OP, did you include complete tax returns and proof of current employment for the I-864? Are you applying for AP?

Thank you for the replies. Should we add the bank statement ( we just opened a bank acct. together)? for the initial sending of the AOS package? I thought we needed the marriage certificate? and I will add proof of current employment for me.

Is that it?

Do we need photos for this package too?

Thank you for the replies.

Should we add the bank statement ( we just opened a bank acct. together)? Joint accounts are shown at the interview for the initial sending of the AOS package?

I thought we needed the marriage certificate? YES, you need it

and I will add proof of current employment for me. Tax transcript or copy of your taxes to be included with the I-864

Is that it?

Do we need photos for this package too? NO, at the interview you need those

Here's a checklist:

- G-1145 -Form for E-notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

- Payment in the amount of $1,070.00 payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security

- I-485 -Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

- Copy of Birth Certificate with English Translation

- Copy of K-1 Visa in Passport

- 4 Passport Photos , with name and A# written on reverse side. Enclosed in a Ziploc bag

- I-693 –Report of vaccination record - (sealed envelope) Completed by Dr.

- Copy of DS-3025 – vaccination record

- G-325A -Biographical Information, filled out, signed and dated

- I-864 -Affidavit of Support under Section 213A of the Act, with the supportingdocuments

- Copy of I-797 - Notice of Action, Approval of K-1 petition

- Copy of Marriage Certificate

- Copy o f I-94 – Arrival/Departure Record (front and back)

- Photocopy of Passport (biographical page as well as entry stamps)

- I-765 Application for Employment Authorization

If you're sending the I-131 with this you need to include6 passport photo's, 2 for each application

Those are not needed.

I would have a look at Vanessa&Tony's post on the subject. It has a very understandable list of what is needed.
