how come I haven't received the instruction package yet when it's been a week now since I sent my IV package?

We (we're both living in Argentina) just got the NVC case number yesterday. When I talked to the lady at NVC, she only asked for my email (the petitioner) should I call back and give her the beneficiary's?

We sent in the DS-3032 as well yesterday. Should I keep trying for the IID or wait till they email me with an invoice?

Thanks!

Yes, call back on Tuesday and give over the beneficiary's email address. And ask for the IIN at the same time. Make sure you ask for "Invoice Identification Number" and not IIN as they won't know that abbreviation.

Sent IV and AOS packages together last week but we called today but was told they haven't received our AOS package yet. It's not lost now, is it?

you sent them off with tracking #'s, right?

when you study the tracking with the entity that you shipped with,

what day did it 'hit the door' at NVC?

wait for the AOS FEE BILL/invoice thingie to hit yer email inbox.

If it's been 5 business days since first calling, and you've NOT received it -

call back - ask for 'AOS FEE BILL via EMAIL' with the human that answers the phone.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks for the help with my previous question.

One more:

My wife doesn't feel comfortable sending her original birth certificate. Would a certified copy from the civil registers office suffice?

Thanks

Yes, you can send either originals or certified copies of birth/marriage certificates. I sent certified copies of my birth and marriage certificates and had no problems.

It's been more than a week now since we sent our response to the checklist. Called today but nvc said they haven't reviewed our response yet. How long does it usually take them to review a response to a checklist? thanks! :-)

What was wrong with your son's i864w? And how many days did it take them to review the new form?
