Weird blink.gif I'd definitely email Montreal pronto and explain your situation and ask them what you need to do next. Expect to wait a few days though as Montreal is typically slow at responding.

Hopefully NVC will release all the IV invoices today. Remember, they've only been open for an hour. There's still 15 hours for them ;)

Yea, I feel like I've been saying "hopefully" for a week now... Hanging in there... At least I'm trying to... Lol

My patience is wearing thin. The fee changed 10 days ago. I sent and paid my AOS April 4 and the held my invoice back so I could pay the lower fee. I would have rather have paid the extra $100 than to have to wait 3 weeks to get it invoiced. They need to get their ####### together. I plan to fly to Amman for his interview and I have to make arrangements to fly. I know they don't care about me...but I just want my damn fee and to send my packet!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, I get where ur coming from. It is frustrating. But it's not just $100, it's more like $174, which I too would've gladly paid in order to be done by now. Husbands PCC is expired now which is depressing me. Contemplating whether I should get a new one or just ask that they accept it and we'll provide a new one at the interview. Angel told me to get a new one, but I didn't like her tone, so still thinking about it... Really thought it'd be done with the 2 packets by now... Didn't think I'd be in this position...

Request for the expeditious processing:

The NVC operators tell you to put in subject line: ATTN: PI SUPERVISOR SUE (case number) This is wrong and will not be received or major delay!

On Saturday after chatting here on vj and getting advice I sent it again as: ATTN: SUPERVISOR SUE (case number) The case was received 7am today and is now under review!

Don't put PI as the operators suggest!

When I emailed the NVC using Attn: Superivsor Sue on 2 seperate occasions I didn't put PI and both were received within 24 hours. So I would agree that you should leave off the PI.

Awesome news! Now you begin the wait...again :D

Doesn't the PCC have to be valid as of the date of the interview at the Embassy?

I think you're right...which means (to me) that when they're reviewing it, they'd need to see that it will be valid as of the date of the interview. Is this what you think?

:star: Thanks for the advice!

yep, I emailed them and got the auto-response already. The website listed a phone number but I seem to remember hearing they don't answer the phones - is this correct? Wonder...maybe the congressman will get solid answers before they even get back to me LOL. On the other hand, she asked if I got a packet yet. Wonder if that means that "something" is in the works to be sent to me?

Yeah, that number doesn't work. I think just an automated system comes on telling you to email them, if anything. Not too sure as I never called the number, knowing from the Canada forum that if you call Montreal, you won't get an operator. OK here is the deal. I just got off the phone with the NVC and spoke to a supervisor, although I don;t believe she really was one. They said they send a request to a supervisor on the 18th and will take at least another 10-15 business days to generate the bill. So I asked if you're a supervisor why can't you send it? Her reply was it was sent to a different department that does not take incoming calls. I am not happy, I would have rather paid the extra $100 and had my bill!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that number doesn't work. I think just an automated system comes on telling you to email them, if anything. Not too sure as I never called the number, knowing from the Canada forum that if you call Montreal, you won't get an operator. See if your congressman can find out anything about what's going on with your case. And them mentioning packets all the time now may seem to indicate something. It's definitely an improvement over them saying nothing is going on (or even your case isn't there headbonk.gif).

Yeah, I won't bother calling the consulate. I'll email them and keep calling DoS. Wonder if they really ARE implementing a self-scheduled IR-1/CR-1 interview system? It is an improvement...she didn't say "they've just started working on your case" and she CERTAINLY didn't say "we don't have your file yet", so that must mean they've written something in there! She also said "there's no interview scheduled for you yet", and all I said was "I was wondering if there have been any updates on my file, or if there is anything needed by the consulate that would help them" so...the wheels are turning in my mind now...

I called NVC and was informed that the embassy has not given any outcome yet, will DOS know if i call them now?

DoS probably wouldn't know. I never contacted them until after the expedite was approved. You can always touch base with the senator...

DoS probably wouldn't know. I never contacted them until after the expedite was approved. You can always touch base with the senator...

Oh ok i see as the lady at the office informed me last thursday that she will get an answer last friday or today, yuou think i could call or email her?
