Ok so now after we have sent our DS-3032 TWICE and Paid the AOS Bill and the AOS package is already at NVC, then I get two emails 10 minutes ago with the DS-3032 kit and Instructions to pay the AOS Bill! LOL!

Of course this question is already in the FAQ's in the next natural question to ask: "The email comes with a Bar-coded DS-3032. If I already email a DS-3032 by email (in my case twice), do I send the Bar-coded one as well?" ... and the ANSWER is: NO! Wait for NVC to accept your first DS-3032 ... or in my case again: ONE of the TWO we already sent

Woooohoooo! DS-3032 Accepted! Moving On Again! ... Next Step: Wait for the IV Bill Fee to be Invoiced! :D

Okay now i'm wondering if I should re-send my ds-3032 email?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......................

For sure it won't hurt if you resend it. But if you already received the auto-reply email resending a new one will not put you ahead of the queue. they have a queue and they are working it everyday.

Hello guys,

4 Q's:

1) Do we need to include "AOS Payment Receipt" in the AOS package?

Nope, only the bar-coded cover sheet.

2) How do you guys verify if NVC received AOS package or IV package?

just by tracking # from the shipping company?

or

call NVC if they have received it?

Best to go by your tracking number. NVC will only tell you when a package is being reviewed, not when it's received.

3) After NVC has received it, Do we call them and ask them about the Status of the AOS or IV package, if it has been received and accepted?

YES

4) By accepted, do you mean, no Checklist? moving onto case completion?

YES. At least, that's what I meant by accepted in my signature :P

Also, I'm guessing it was their first email that was accepted since they only re-sent the second one today. I doubt NVC is that speedy.

I got a RFE today for my IV package. It was my stupid mistake when combining all the documents into one PDF file.

For EP (Electronic Processing) response to a RFE Checklist, do I just attach the request document without any coversheet (as instructed in the Checklist Cover Letter)?

Saylin, you can update the spreadsheet for my case: DS-230 sent on 3/7, RFE on 3/13.

hmmmmm. comments...

1. if it was in the file attachment, then call into NVC and get a supervisor, remind the supervisor that the THING they are asking for is IN the fileset.

2. USUALLY include barcoded coversheet. hmmm is strange it's telling you not to. If it says not to, then don't.

3. send all to nvcelectronic@state.gov

good luck !

I wonder if DoS might give me a different answer....

you remember, after case-complete,

it's the 'final review' stage, right?

So, since yer on the precipice, this 'edge of wetness',

please to be certain about the final review bits..

I'm a thinking I'm a day off, maybe 2 days off now - so - scheduling on Wednesday or Thursday, for you.

Just got an E-mail from NVC (Subject line: Checklist Cover Letter) asking for my AOS and IV fees.... yes yes, I know. They'll be done soon NVC  I'm assuming I don't have to really respond to this in any way as it provided no instructions besides "Give your money to us."

Also a note for Saylin: I've seen this in a couple correspondences now from NVC. This was on the cover letter they provided in the Checklist e-mail mentioned above.

"Do Not use this cover sheet if you are submitting forms and/or

supporting documents by e-mail (Electronic Processing).

Instead, type your NVC case number in the subject line of the

e-mail message. Follow the directions on

www.immigrantvisas.state.gov to correctly scan and submit

forms and documents."

Should your electronic processing guide be adjusted to reflect that, as your instructions said to put the bar-coded sheets on the first page of our .PDFs. IMO it seems safer to have the bar code on there just because, but this message is pretty clear. Hmmmm.

Attention my fellow Vjers who are at the same stage I'm currently at. Word of Advise: Do NOT resend your DS-3032 if you have submitted one already. The acceptance I received today was for the initial request I submitted a week ago, so NVC written correspondence unit is obviously backlogged. Wait for the response, I assure you, it is coming shortly. Thanks!

Hello,

Today my wife and I received (2) emails from NVC, PAOSF-I-130 and ACL

I read Page 1 herethe say's "When can I email the DS-3032"? "Right after you get your case number." So my wife and I made the Email template from the shortcut here on Vjand emailed it to NVC from my wife's email account on Thursday March 8th. NVC never responded to the DS-3032 Email.

Well today the $88 AOS Bill generated and I paid it and printed out the Document cover sheet. I called NVC and asked the Operator

ME: "Have you received the DS-3032 Email from my wife's account"?

Operator: "No, did she fill-out the form, sign it and Emailed it back as a document"?

ME: "No, She Emailed but, not as a word document"!

Operator: "She needs to fill-out the form, Sign the document, scan it and then Email it and an attachment"!

ME: "Ok, Thanks"!

In (2) more days the bill will show as paid, at that pint should I just send the AOS package to the NVC without a DS-3032 responses? or do as the operator say's and spend more time having my wife fill-out this form, sign, scan and Email?

Thanks

Robert
