January 19:

5 x approvals

January 20:

2 x RFE

1 x approval

January 22:

2 x approval

January 30:

2 x approval

You should know how much I look forward to your posts everyday :) Definitely has pulled me out of some serious ruts. THANK YOU!!!!!

We even hired a lawyer to do our paperwork and what he sent in still wasn't enough? Is this common?

Sorry to hear that. It happens. I filed with a lawyer and got an RFE too. If you're from Chicago like your name suggests, I wonder if we used the same lawyer :lol:

You should get the RFE hard copy by Monday, so don't stress about it for now. There is nothing you can do until you get the notice.

No we actually hired a lawyer from NY that was recommended by a family member.

All we can do is wait :whistle:

I don't get it! This is totally ridiculous!!! according to this timeline ( NVC Timeline ) NVC has received 2 cases today from CSC that both have July 6 NOA2. Our NOA2 is July 5, and they don't have our case yet!!! How?! WhY?! I don't get it, simply, I don't get it :angry::crying: maybe our case was down on the pile and since the pile was heavy when they were picking it up, they just dropped it? :unsure:

RFE's are common. Respond to it in a timely manner and you should usually receive your NOA2 within a couple of weeks.

NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12

We just got our case number on Monday and it took 24 days.. Called today and it's still sitting there at NvC..

27 January 2012: Mailed I-129F

03 February 2012: NOA1( e-mail & Text)

03 February 2012: Check Cashed

NO RFE'S

22 June 2012 : NOA2 (e-mail & Text)

16 July 2012: Manila Case Number(by phone)

17 July 2012: Interview paid at BPI

19 July 2012: Set interview for Mid-Aug

23-24 July 2012: Medical St. Lukes(passed)

24 July 2012: CFO Seminar(had to go next morning for landline #)- PASSED

02 Aug 2012: Received e-mail from USEM our case is there.

15 Aug 2012: Interview at USEM - APPROVED

13 SEP 2012: POE Minneapolis, MN

27 OCT 2012: Married

19 NOV 2012: AOS package sent

05 DEC 2012: NOA's I-765, I-131, I-485

14 DEC 2012: Biometrics appointment finished(Walk-in..Was scheduled Jan 04 2013)

02 FEB 2013: I-131 and I-765 Approved

07 FEB 2013: USPS Picked up the combo-card

11 FEB 2013: Received Combo-card

21 FEB 2013: Transit Visa picked up in Chicago for Japan

Congrats. always good to hear that the NVC stage has improved for some. the wait at VSC has been horrific lately. 6 months and counting here..If I could get out of this week with an approval I would be thrilled....Really would be nice to move on to the next step before the very end of July...

1/20/12 - NOA1

1/24/12 - Touched

2/09/12 - Touched

8/02/12 - NOA2 (197 Days After Received at VSC)

8/14/12 - Received at NVC (Assigned Case Number)

8/16/12 - Departed from NVC

8/20/12 - Arrived in US Embassy Kiev

8/28/12 - Information Received from Embassy via mail

9/12/12 - Interview (Approved)

9/19/12 - Visa Received via Elin Ltd. (FedEx)

If they really do speed up, I will be expecting sooner interview well at least by end of August.. yet if I am lucky. I just hope they don't randomly pick up our case and send out to NVC :unsure:

Matthew and I received our NOA2 at 11:30pm on July 18, 2012. We are so very happy! We know there are still many steps to complete in Our Timeless Journey but this is truly a day for celebration! We were actually on Skype together when the e-mail came through and I tell you what we were both speechless. Good luck to those still waiting your time is soon. Stay strong all of you February filers !
