I can't vote you don't have a option for family of 7.

We spend more then 600, if we buy pet food or diapers it will be much more like 700.

We shop twice a month and every time it's about $150 for 2 people. I cook almost everyday and try to eat out less and less, it's expensive and mostly unhealthy. I thought we were spending a lot but seeing how much everyone else spends I feel better!

We sometimes spend around $100 a week for the 2 of us. Technically we could get away with shopping every fortnight but we like to keep the pantry and fridge stocked. For a while there while we were both unemployed we had the pantry so well stocked from before we stopped work that we spent maybe $50 a month on chicken, beef, milk, cheese and bread.

How much you spend depends on how you like to live. My husband and I are the same in that we like to be able to eat what we "feel like" when we're hungry. That means making sure we have what we like in stock. I also like to keep a cake mix and frosting on standby in case someone has a birthday/special event and I don't have time to shop. I also have a box of cards for special occasions so I'm not stuck without one of those either. I like to be prepared :D

Hubby's not a fan of red velvet ('cause sometimes the red dye stains) but chocolate definitely :D I got a chocolate mud the other day. i also have a lemon cake but again hubby doesn't like it (but I'm a fan :D) so I'm looking forward to finding a situation to make that so I can eat it :D

I am the same way, I like having snacks and stuff we like in stock for when we feel like eating it. Although I have to be very careful and try not to get things that I LOVE because then I will eat them in one day :bonk: I try to get stuff that I just 'like' and I know I wont devour immediately. :)

Actually, we're about more than $200 for grocery, and that's for two adult and a dog. We're kinda pampering our dog a bit, so he's taking 15% of our grocery budget.

How is that? According to your timeline, you just filed the K-1 petition and are still waiting on the NOA-2.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
